The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms were lovely and the pool / beach area is great. If your intention is to spend a few days of relaxation with breathtaking sea views, then this is the place for you. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food is very good. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The hotel also offers a lift service to drive its guests from the hotel to the Agia Marina port.

Great place, just near the sea, great view from the balkong. Restaurant and breakfast were perfekt. And you can go to the breakfast when it is good time to you , no any limited. Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

April was too early to go to the beach and swim.

April was too early to go to the beach and swim. A few restaurants were open and a good supermarket with necessary items available. A short taxi drive 15eur to the Town of Aegina is recommended. No bus rides available at least in April. Souvala is a quiet place, but not too much to do.

Amazing location friendly and warm host and staff. A stay I would totally recommend if you are looking for something to ease your mind and enjoy the sounds of the ocean . The bohemian style combined with the traditional style of the room we stayed was a great way to enjoy our stay at the fullest. The host and his family were more than friendly and helpful to everything we needed and always ready to please us in anyway .Nice place to visit is Moni as u take a boat for perdika and you will be amazed by the scenery and crystal clear waters . We also enjoyed aigina as we mostly dined . Panta rei was a nice call day cafe-lunch -drinks were the staff is very friendly as well as the souvlaki place kipos in Shia marina was also good . The beach bar at marathona b beach was also a nice place to relax on the beachbeds at the beach and enjoy drinks or food .

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy...

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy beach to swim. There are some supermarkets and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Aegina town is approx. 20 min away by the bus (it costs 1.60 EUR) and only 2 times a day. Bus timetable is available in https://www.aeginaportal.gr/ktel.html

Small and quaint with small selection restaurants, hotels and a bakery. 2 beaches 1 with sand and beach bar, the other is where ferry ports and is small but with plenty of shade. You need a car to explore the island as souvala is very small

Souvala is a quiet little village and harbour but very pleasant for a short trip. We stayed just one night as a break from Athens and the ferry to Aegina Town was a relaxing way to arrive. Aegina Town is more sophisticated, but Souvala had a number of restaurants that looked good. The little beach was mainly used by local families and retired people so it was pretty quiet and had charm. We had a great brunch at the Azure Beach bar and would recommend Saronikos Restaurant for dinner - lovely food (try the local pistachio pesto) and wine - reasonable prices - and right next to the sea with a fantastic view.

The hotel was conveniently situated near restaurants and convenience stores. We loved the ambience of the harbour edged by restaurants and loved the view of it and the mountain from our room. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, providing us with a kettle, crockery and cutlery so we could eat on the balcony of our room. They treated us like family instead of guests. Small things like a plug for the basin and a blocked shower drain were attended to immediately. The pool was sparkling and inviting.

Although our visit to the studio was short, we enjoyed the tranquility, the cleanliness and the wonderful scenery. The location is also very convenient, 5 minutes from the port of Souvala with a daily connection to Athens. Within walking distance there is the market and beaches. The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

This place is excellent! A lot of small beaches nearby if you walk by foot, restaurants too. The hotel is classy, with clean, bright rooms and good interior. The breakfast is great too. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, true hosts! Overall we are very satisfied and we will be coming back to this place.

We spent four nights with 3x 12-14 year old kids and we were all occupied with swimming, eating and relaxing. The hosts Spyros and his parents are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The location is great with the sea on the doorstep and the Taverna next door and a 25min walk to Souvala village.
