It was a great experience staying at Croco. The team at Croco made us feel right at home attending to all our needs. They have a whatsapp concierge which made communicating with the team really easy to attend to all our needs. They helped arrange for the rental of a Car during our stay there, pick up and drop off all done at the Hotel which was really really useful for us. Their breakfast spread was great and filling with different dishes each day so that our stay was dynamic and enjoyable. You get a great view of the Mykonos Sunset as the hotel is located right by the coast, Location wise, it is really near the main tourist area of Chora, which made it accessible by foot or car. It is a great place if you are looking to relax and unwind by the pool. One of the notable mentions, which I feel is important because it is exemplary of the standards that they hold themselves to - was that the Soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Tooth Brush provided were all branded and of high quality. Something which really impressed me and my wife. Another great feature of this Hotel is that they have a Gym, it helped me keep some weight off my belly during this trip and was actually the only hotel equipped with a Gym that we stayed in.

The hotel is about a 3 minute drive from the port if so much and there are two restaurants a few minutes walk away from it. Accessing Little Venice is super convenient by taking a small ferry over. It was also relaxing to lay by the pool at the hotel and having pizza and beers. The room was more spacious than I expected. I think what set Rhenia aside was how welcoming the owner was and how attentive all the staff were.

Walking back to the hotel from old port / Mykonos town can be harder than expected - VERY windy (at least in September) and you have to walk on driveway in the dark. Just wanted to note this here. - Lovely spacious terrace with an incredible view. We couldn't tear ourselves away and spent the evening there soaking it in (we were able to.get pizza and pasta delivered) - High quality accommodation, very nicely furnished, very comfortable., good air con and beds. - 3 infinity pools, in September we effectively had our own private pool. - We had a 4pm ferry the day we left and the manager offered for us to stay on in the villa until then unprompted - easy drive into Mykonos town This is one of the most memorable places I've stayed in.

Elegant decor and good size suite. We thought the location was perfect; short walk from new port. We were opposite a bus stop that is less than 10 minutes to the old port. We enjoyed the private balcony and pool. Lovely host. We didn’t expect the room to be serviced as an apartment but it was! Nice touch with the wine in room.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

Tourlos is pretty much just the port so v v busy either ferries and most days 3 or 4 cruise ships as well. Doesn’t have a village feel the hotel is on a very busy main road with no pavement so you can’t really walk along to explore.

Definitely the magnificent views and the friendliness of the people. We were told that food and drinks were expensive. But there are plenty of restaurants that had more reasonable prices. To get the most of our trip there, we rented an auto so we can travel to other beaches to avoid the strong winds. There are also less expensive vehicles to rent like ATV, motorcycles, and vespas.

Tourlos is at the best a suburb of Mykonos, and we didn't see anything special;The place is in a few kilometers distance from Mykonos center. To get there on foot, make sure you have good knees and ankles. Shopping food and specially water is not straight forward around the area. Specially carrying water , if you do no have a car, it would be tiresome. The tab water is only usable for taking shower. The hostess was kind enough to leave a bottle of water for drinking to start with.

Tourlos is certainly a less expensive alternative to Mykonos Old Town---as a hotel location---while proving easy and inexpensive access (€2/passenger with the Sea Bus) to the Mykonos Old Town. The island of Mykonos is ,however,---as a preferred party island for especially the younger visitors---not my preferred Greek Island, for exploring historic sites or even enjoying places with a unique volcanic history and topography (like Santorini)....

Greeted warmly by the owner Alexandria into this family run hotel , The setting is beautiful, amongst the usual olive and Pine trees and exotic shrubs all well kept vibrant and tranquil. Our room overlooking the port was all that was promised, strong shower, quality bedding ,big fluffy towels, beds extremely comfortable . Breakfast was superb with probably the best ever view from the beautiful dining room. My liking for greek coffee was noted,and was given free of charge.

The view is sensational ! One of the best sunset that we have seen during our trip. Everything is perfect and very comfortable. Alex, the host, is amazing. We came to the port to pick us up and bring us to the hotel AND take us back on our last day ! We also gave a lot of information like taxi’s number to help us. I truly recommend this place for the host and the beautiful sunset !
