The property is so nicely done, very comfortable from the moment you arrive. You feel at home here because of the two wonderful hosts that will show you around the area, organise transfers and provide great food! Also the facilities and decor have been done very beautifully so that you can just hang out in your bungalow and enjoy the quiet. We had a fantastic stay at Livingston Resort Hotel. We arrived by lancha, which was super nice. We were welcomed by Noemi, who is a super nice and helpful host. She is great! She helped us with everything: tours and activities for the day, looking for shuttle services, even booking a hotel in Quiriguá for the next day (which seemed almost impossible). Also the other staff members are so nice! The hotel has perfect location, along the seaside, with a great swimming pool too. Our room had a view on the beach, which was great. The rooms are nice and clean, with AC. There is also good restaurant, which is open all day, with view on the beach. I certainly recommend Livingston Resort Hotel!

The best reason for staying here is the manager, Giovanni. He is a bilingual jewel. Great with arranging trips up the Rio Dulce but even more describing the history of the area.

Casa Maya is wonderful. the family are very kind and hospitable. rooms were comfortable and clean, meals were delicious, and it was nice to enjoy dinner and breakfast with the other guests. Highly recommend! Muchas gracias Martha y tu familia!

Such an amazing place. A great spot to just chill out for a few days. There’s literally a jungle all around and the river is beautiful and clean. The staff were fantastic, they really try to make this place feel like home for you.
