Great stay in beautiful location. Highly recommend Polace over Pomena. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and although basic room I felt was really good value for money. The views from terrace of sunrise and sunset and the stars at night is worth every penny.

An amazing place to stay for a week. Absolutely stunning views and a beautiful outdoor area where I could just sit, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. I felt truely welcomed and had a great time. I ate each night at the restaurant and had some glorious meals. They went above and beyond to make my time here special. Thank you so much for a great week.

Lovely little apartment, with a great balcony and comfy bed. Ropa is a sweet village with a charming beach and the most spectacular stars at night! Marijana and her family are so welcoming. We would definitely come back again!

This was the most homely comfortable accommodation on our whole trip. The view from the balcony was stunning. I could step out the door to swim in the clearest water. The host was very friendly and kind - - he cooked us fabulous fresh seafood dinners. While the room (also the price) is basic, there is everything you need for a relaxing break.

The host was nice and welcoming despite the fact she couldn’t speak English, but google helped to get the job done! 😊 The room was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace (where we had our dinner!).

The national park is beautiful and peaceful.

The national park is beautiful and peaceful. You can swim in the lakes within the park which have an outlet to the ocean so they are salt water. The park is ideal for cycling and walking; electric bikes being particularly popular and easy to hire. Pomena is right by the entrance to the park and boasts some good restaurants with lovely views over the harbour. There is also a beach club nearby that belongs to a hotel but is also open to the public.
