We stayed at Hotel Plaža in Pag as a couple and were thoroughly delighted with our visit. The staff are exceptionally kind, engaged, and genuinely helpful at every moment, which immediately creates a welcoming, stress‑free atmosphere. The panoramic views of the bay and surrounding mountains from the pool and terraces are breathtaking and set the tone for a perfect seaside break. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The location strikes a great balance: it’s right by a small, charming beach for easy swimming and sun, yet a pleasant walk brings you to the town center for evening strolls and dinners. Practical perks matter too: the hotel provides free parking and spaces are generally available; the ramp is tight for entry/exit, but it’s a real advantage to have on‑site parking included. For cautious drivers, there’s also a gentler, informal area next to the hotel that the property makes available. Wholeheartedly recommended for a calm, scenic, and well‑hosted stay.

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area - several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay - beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'. Not good: - near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

Small village very quiet, with a couple of restaurants and a nice beach bar shaped like an old galeon. The village has a pebble beach with shallow water that is perfect for families with childre. There is another similar beach about 900 mt from the village, and you can get there by car if you wish. There are a couple of restaurants, we ate at the larger one at the beginning of the village. Nice location on the sea, food is average. There is also a very beautiful hiking trail, called "Life on Mars" that is about 8 km long and is really a must. You can walk it with sneakers, no problem. Perfect place for families and couples who look for a quiet and naturalistic place to spend a regenerating vacation.

Quiet destination with crystal clear water and many wonderfull beaches around. You can enjoy local products every day fresh (bakery, vegetable and fruits), there is nice grocery and many restorants with seafood too. Beatifull place to stay. Also good for sports like cycling, running, swimming…

Best spot if you want to visit beaches Ručica (in our opinion best beach on the island and more) and Beritnica or route Walk on Mars. Beside these sites, the village has no much to offer. Lots of apartments, few restaurants, small promenade, nothing special...

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We always liked Metajna and now we have a new favorite for the apartment there. It is completely new, modern, nicely designed and equipped. Close to beaches on both sides of the island. We are a family with 2 children and had no problem with space and the sofa bed was also comfortable for sleeping. Great communication with the host. Thank you very much for nice stay!

During our almost 2 month trip around the Balkans we slept in many apartments. This one in Metajna is in the top three (ex aequo) It is 1- perfectly located, 2- beautifully and comfortably furnished 3- has above all great hosts!!! We spent a very nice evening in their company, for which we are very grateful!!!

Hospitable hostess. It was clean. Good bedding. Nearby are several shops and restaurants. Quite quiet at night. From the house, it is very easy to get to the best hiking routes to the Pag islands (e.g. Walking on Mars). Ručica beach is within walking distance.
