Hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed on the Adriatic, and I’ve been exploring the Croatian coast for 20 years… A gorgeous old house, so cozy and comfy, beautifully decorated by the owner (who is an amazing person btw, very nice to talk to, very accomodating). The house is equipped with everything you need for a nice vacation, the kitchen is huge and new, the dining and living rooms are also very big, you have a full bathroom and another toilet on the 1st floor. The bedrooms are also huge, with large comfy beds - and each has their own AC unit. You even have a smart TV! Not that you’ll need it, because you have an amazing courtyard to enjoy the whole day, because there’s always at least a part of it in shade. And you have an outdoor shower which is great for hot summer days. The house is perfectly placed, in a quiet street, but close to the city centre (5min walk max) and close to the public beach (2min walk). We definitely recommend, and will be coming back next year! :)

Dragan and his mother were very welcoming, answering queries quickly and making sure we enjoyed our stay. The elevated apartment has a great view of Preko, it is within 10 minutes walk of the port and less to shops and a good selection of places to eat. The apartment is really well equipped to live very comfortably for more than a week with a great kitchen and loads of equipment, big fridge and freezer with cold filtered water, and air conditioning in all bedrooms. There was plenty to do both near and far with bikes, SUPs and boats to rent, buses to other beaches as well as boat excursions. Just a short hop over from the mainland, this was an easy island to get to, we have definitely fallen in love with Ugjlan and the beautiful surrounding sea. We hope to be back soon.

This is a fabulous and beautifully appointed apartment. I especially liked the design of the kitchen, having a coffee machine, and of course the great balcony. Bedroom is also beautiful and bed comfier than mine at home - and I am fussy about beds. Ivo is really nice and the property has a very interesting history. Right in the centre of Preko, a minute from the supermarket and restaurants.

We fell in love with Preko. We are very well travelled. This place is special. It’s unspoilt and quiet. The sea is fabulous. It’s clean and stylish. I’d not recommend it for big groups wanting nightlife but for others who want peace in a beautiful location, it’s great! The Croatian people are lovely too. Everything we wanted was at hand- restaurants and bars (but we self catered); small but adequate supermarkets; a daily fish delivery (near the bus area or in the small market in the village); the little island; the quiet beaches (rocky); the marinas and everything. It was a marvellous place to unwind. We were there 4 nights (easy ferry access from Zadar) and we just chilled. The 3 nights in Zadar were great too!

Great interior and exterior. Love the old building feel whilst being modern. Rooms were great. Beds super comfortable. Great pool area, dining area. Lovely landscaping and greenery. The private beach area opposite is great with the cabanas and offers all day sun. Just a touch more atmosphere. Staff were very personable and communicative. We also arrived at 12pm and were allowed to check in which we did t even ask for which was a bonus.

I really like the localization- its close to the center of Preko, shops and beaches. Rooms was very clean, we had balcony with the view of Zadar. There were towels and fridge. The staff was very kind and helpfull. It’s not modern place, but I really like retro style of it- with old pictures of Preko and nice drawings on the walls. I really recommend Pension Rušev!!!

We loved absolutely everything ❤️. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The highlight was definitely the balcony with its stunning sea view – the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. Highly recommended!
