This is a completely renovated old cinema in Tar, which means high ceilings and spacious rooms and bathrooms. We loved the place, how nicely it was decorated, with high end appliances and decorations. The rooms are spacious, and well positioned. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the apartments is, far better than the pictures would indicate. We will definitely come back... The apartment is well positioned for moving around and exploring Istria.

The perfect place to spend your holidays. The hosts are a delight, the room is beautiful with a great view from the terrace. Full kitchen equipment including washing machine and dishwasher. A wonderful host who was happy to help with news about the area and interesting facts about the history of the city. Excellent contact in English. And only stairs... :-)

Even though we only stayed one night, everything was great. Villa is in a quiet place, and inside everything was very neat and clean. The owner was really wonderful, she guided us to everything and helped us with the things we should see in this area. In the evening, we even had a barbecue. We are really satisfied and will definitely come back.

Great place. We are very pleased with our stay. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, good water pressure and temperature in the shower, washing machine in the bathroom. The owner lives in the same building, downstairs. She is a very nice and understanding person, even though we were loud sometimes. A big advantage is a private parking space in the shade, right next to the apartment door. Novigrad is a few minutes away by car. This is a great place if you have a car and intend to explore the area during your stay. Pula, Ucka National Park, Piran, Trieste, Scocjan Caves are within a reasonable distance, during our trip we also went to Venice and many other beautiful places.

The hosts has been kindly, friendly, helpfully but respectfully. The room was great for us, a couple in the sixtees. We liked the quietness and tranquility of the location and the area. We liked the extensious walkings in the nature around, fields, little woods and on the seaside. Porec, Novigrad and Umag were nearby and in a few minutes to reach by car. There were not so many restaurants open in the village, but the two ones we visited served delicous meals and best wine. We escaped from the cold and foggy weather in Austria to the sunny, clean and salty mediterranean air of Istria and wouldn't have been disappointed. There would have been worth to be visited a lot of more locations nearby, if we would have had the time for it. We loved those days and will come back by occasion.

The local bakery is nice.

The local bakery is nice. There is a lot of nice beach near, but Lanterna (Tar's beach) is far not on the list. Rovinj, Porec and Pula is near. Rovinj is the most beautifull city. Tar is mostly a "just sleep town", you need to travel to the near beaches.

Close to Poreč and Novigrad, and to a cave worth seeing. Enjoy a seaside holiday at the Lanterna campsite, which offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. There are restaurants, gas stations, a pharmacy, and supermarkets, among other amenities.

I think Tar is absolutely wonderful.

I think Tar is absolutely wonderful. It might be too quiet for some, but I found it just right. If you want more action, you can always go to Poreč. There are good restaurants in town... Konoba Teran, in particular, is definitely worth a visit. The people at Cafe Yvonne are also lovely and welcoming... I'll be back!

The small town of Tar is unremarkable and, apart from a small historic center, has no tourist attractions. There are a few restaurants and plenty of vacation apartments. Its location might be well-suited for cyclists and hikers. The large naturist resort of Lanterna is only a few kilometers away, as are the charming towns of Novigrad and Poreč.

A small town, we didn't visit the whole town, but what little we saw was nice. Only one of the 3 recommended restaurants for lunch is open before 5pm, which was a bummer for me. We didn't visit the beach because it was a work trip so we didn't have time.

Lovely apartments located in the heart of the peaceful village of Tar. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. The location is ideal—close to beautiful beaches, yet in a quiet area with plenty of great restaurants nearby. This has become our favorite place in Istria! The apartments are pet-friendly, but make sure to inform the owner in advance, as some rooms are reserved for guests with pet allergies.

Very nice and very clean apartment. The kitchen was equiped with everything necessary (the stove, the oven, the microwave oven etc.), and there was a washing machine in the bathroom. We had our own parking space.
