A wonderful little hideaway in a quiet, charming village just 15 minutes by car from Fonyód. So the lake is very close, yet this area is completely free from non-biting midges (árvaszúnyogoktól mentes), which in the evenings often appear in huge numbers around Lake Balaton, so here we could truly enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The house is equipped with everything you might need – a stovetop, fridge with freezer, coffee maker (for filtered coffee), kettle, toaster, cups, plates, etc, all essential kitchen utensils. Spices like salt and pepper are not provided, but we brought our own and stocked up at the nearby Lidl, so we didn’t miss a thing. The owner is a lovely, helpful lady, and the place felt like a small oasis where we could escape from the busy city and relax. There is no air conditioning, but it wasn’t necessary at all: even when it was 30°C outside, the temperature inside was very comfortable. Mosquito nets on the windows were also a great plus. We truly enjoyed our stay and are so happy we discovered this little gem!

The stay at Balaton Flow Residence was perfect. The hosts were very nice and helpful, super responsive when needed. Free drinks inside the fridge and coffee, soda, ice machine in the public area. Covered pool, sauna and jacuzzi were really a plus. Everything was really clean and little cute details and decorations made it very cozy. The bed was sooo comfortable. Stayed just one night, but already thinking to make a full trip to Hungary just for this place. Definitely recommend.

Great value for money. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Told us to let them know if we need anything. Multiple parking spots. Nice table outside to sit and relax, have a meal or drinks.

The house was nice, spacious, with garden and two terraces. AC in every bedroom. There was a grill with wood. The family that rents the house was really nice to us and even though lot of reviews says that they dont speak english, one of them does so there isnt any problem in comunication

This place is absolutely wonderful. So quite and relaxing. We stayed here with two children who loved the pool. The host Kata is so thoughtful and kind. She organised the most delightful vegetarian breakfast and dinner every day. We look forward to going back and would highly recommend this as a peaceful place to stay.
