Where to start! This was our first stay in Lombok after coming from the Gili Islands. We were welcomed with open arms by the staff and offered a free welcome drink (we chose coffee). The place is just fantastic ✨ , the energy, the vibe, and the beautiful garden in front of the rooms. Thanks to Mr. Gardener, it looks fresh and vibrant every day 🌷. The room was super comfy and spacious, and the shower had hot water as well. You can also get food there we had the most delicious omelette ever 😋. They also organize trips, such as hiking to Mount Rinjani or day trips to visit waterfalls and rice fields. In the evenings, we sat down with the local staff while one of them played the guitar, and we all sang together — a true highlight of the trip. I was very grateful to meet the boys who worked there; they are simply the best. They even picked fresh mangoes for us from the tree up high! A huge thank you to Riip, Riadi, Acip, and Mr. Gardener for spending such a beautiful evening with us. This is one of those places you’ll always want to come back to 💚.

What an amazing place this is! I had such a great time here. Even though it was the rainy season and I couldn’t hike Mount Rinjani, I met an incredible guide named Yadi, who showed me the rice fields and some hidden gems I’d never have found on my own. The owner Yasmine, is absolutely fantastic! We laughed so much together and played cards, she was a good sport about losing every single time to me ;P. I even got to meet her family and we had a delicious BBQ with duck. And let’s not forget the chef Rajang, his cooking skills are on another level! He’s always ready to whip up something amazing for you. I’m definitely coming back in a few months to climb that mountain with Yadi. This place is a solid 10/10 🤍❤️

Staying at Rudy Trekker Guest House was the perfect start to my Rinjani adventure. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and well cared for. The check-in was smooth, and they immediately helped me prepare for my trek with clear explanations, tips, and a genuine concern for my safety and comfort. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet — exactly what you need before taking on a challenging hike. The hot shower and air conditioning were a blessing, and the bed gave me a truly restful night’s sleep. Their restaurant serves delicious local food, and the pool with jungle views is a wonderful bonus to relax before or after trekking. What impressed me most, however, was the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the team. They made sure I had everything I needed, patiently answered all my questions, and checked that I felt confident and safe before starting the climb. I never felt like just another guest; I felt genuinely looked after. If you’re planning to trek Rinjani, I can’t recommend Rudy Trekker enough. Their warmth, professionalism, and care for both guests and the mountain make them stand out in every way.

I had such a lovely stay at Rumah Kawan House of Friends! The family who runs it is incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessities for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect home base for the Rinjani Trek. The local couple running the guesthouse are super lovely. They helped me set everything up for my spontaneous Rinjani hike and served nice breakfast and dinner (THE CURRY IS DELICIOUS). The place is very clean and cozy surrounded by rice fields.

Very nice and warm owner, she picked us up from the airport and stopped for the dinner on the way to Senaru even it was late evening, she organized scooter, guide for Ranjani and transfer to Kuta for very good price. Room was very good too, big double bed, nice bathroom and of course good view. Felt like home. Breakfast was amazing too, you could choose from different types of pancakes, omlette and couple more local meals.
