For us this was the perfect place. We arrived at Lombok airport late one afternoon, and the car and boat transfers booked through the accommodation were efficient and nice. We arrived late, when the restaurant was about to close, but were offered both food and drinks. The bungalow is right on the beach. It has a simple standard but is clean and airy. The breakfast was delicious, homemade bread and homemade towels as well as a number of other choices. Lunch and dinner also tasted very good. The snorkeling from the beach was absolutely great. At a distance of less than 200m we saw blue coral, anemone fish, lionfish and turtle. Not to mention the snorkeling trip with Marie. Absolutely fantastic. She was warm and sociable and did everything to ensure that everyone had a good experience. It was inspiring to see the joy she had and the effort she put into meeting all visitors. We hope that we will have the opportunity to come back on a later occasion (stayed in room 5, 3 nights July 2025)

The hotel is great. From the big swimming pool right next to the sea to the all hidden spots you can sit and relax from in the garden. Staff was very welcoming. A brand new hotel with bungalows, very good location seaside, easy access. The nice sandy beach is clean. We enjoyed the breakfast, the view on the Gillis, the comfort, and, more than everything, the staff who is always ready to inform you, help you, and give good advises for your stay. Don't miss the snorkeling tour they offer at a good price, it's a must do: you will spend a full day going from one great snorkeling spot to another on a fisherman boat. Enjoyable and you won't forget it. Highly recommended.

A truly fantastic place to relax, eat really well (don't miss the Eggs Benedict!), snorkel or hike around the island. Beautiful views and great design. We actually only wanted to stay 3 nights but were able to extend our stay - you won't want to leave here! There is a diving school at the Pearl Beach Resort, you are picked up directly from the beach at Amahelia, highly recommended! The staff at Amahelia are great, super friendly and incredibly helpful. Even with a medical problem, the manager was extremely helpful and competent - for hours and in the middle of the night! Thank you again for that! In my opinion, the best choice on Gili Asahan. Feels perfect at your place, we'll be back!
