Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip — it’s close to the airport and convenient for departure. I especially like the Sidewalk Shopping Centre, where you can find Western food, good coffee, and food giftsto take home. The fish market is also a highlight — it’s the only place where I trust eating local oysters, always fresh. The beach itself isn’t crystal clear like Melasti, but it’s clean and free from rubbish, unlike Seminyak or Canggu. For those who want to see a different, more local side of Bali, Jimbaran is a great choice. Just be careful when choosing accommodation — pick something near the beach and away from the main road, so you can walk easily and avoid the heavy traffic.
Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!
The actual area is busy and noisy, but the seafood cafes on the beach are the real drawcard and should be experienced - with roving minstrels and choosing your own fish. The hotel was directly across one road to the cafes and beach but inside the property it was peaceful.
Choose a lounge chair and an umbrella on the beach outside one of the many Warungs (Resaurants). Snacks and Bintang beer on continuous flow. Lots of fish resaurants along here. Learn to surf. Short walk to shopping. Get a "Grab" or 'Gojek' app on yor phone to get the quickest and cheapest transport.
Go for a night for seafood on the beach. Don't stay there. Nothing to do in the area. Very run down and grotty. Uluwatu Road so busy you won't be able to go anywhere for a trip without being stuck in traffic for an hour first. No pavements to walk anywhere.
The villa is very poorly maintained doors do not lock or close No air con in main area Old aluminium pots and pans with minimal other kitchen equipment Halal fridge so no place to keep drinks cool No hot water to kitchen sink Will not book again Bags of rotting garbage at entrance
Jimbaran
The place looks just like the pictures, really beautiful! The pool area is gorgeous with a lovely view, and the pool was very pleasant. The rooms were quite nice and the bathrooms were the best we have seen in Bali. However, be aware that only some of the rooms are "bungalows", the rest are just normal hotel rooms. The restaurant was not particularly cheap so we only had breakfast there, which was good. The location is okay as you will transportation in any case to get anywhere in Uluwatu.
Jimbaran
The atmosfere is typical balinese and our room was huge with a stunning view. The staff is so kind, helpfull and friendly. The lodge is clean and the food in the restaurant is good with fair prices. The lodge is located in the middle of the peninsula so you can go everywhere. Jimbaran beach is close by (go to the part near Movenpick hotel), but also Gener beach and padang padang beach. There are quit a lot of things to do on the peninsula and Arthur gives good advice. I will recommend this place.
You really can't beat the location of this resort—it’s absolutely right on Jimbaran Bay! Stepping out onto the beach and having immediate access to all the famous sunset seafood warungs was incredible; it felt like a true Bali experience. The main pool area is lovely, well-maintained, and a great place to spend the afternoon. Also, the staff were so warm and genuinely friendly, always greeting us with big smiles. It has a beautiful, classic Balinese charm that felt really peaceful.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable for everyone—both families and single travelers. It's conveniently close to the beach. I encountered an issue with my luggage, which was delayed by the airline and didn't arrive on time. I was supposed to attend a wedding, and the hotel staff and management went above and beyond to assist me. They made calls and helped in every way possible, making me feel truly supported. Thank you for a pleasant stay and exceptional service.
This is my third time visiting Bali, and The Balangan Hotel was a great place to stay. The breakfast was nice, the pool area was peaceful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I even received a complimentary 10-minute shoulder massage at check-in; a lovely touch! The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, and overall, it was a really good place to rest and recharge, just what I needed. The wifi speed is really good and keep you connect all around the hotel.
Beautiful, quiet facility close to the beach, restaurants and the main shopping street. Open, garden setting with three pools and a comfortable room. Staff that went above and beyond to ensure comfort and safety ( my lock was wonky, they switched rooms immediately, spent a long time getting the TV to work correctly). The staff always was cleaning up and offering to assist. It felt like an oasis in the hubbub of Jimbaran.

We had a wonderful stay at Ahimsa Beach Resort. The pool villa was spacious and private, just a short walk to Jimbaran Beach and the famous seafood restaurants with beautiful sunset views. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary airport transfer was a big plus. Perfect location close to the airport but still peaceful. Highly recommended for a relaxing Bali getaway.
The staff were extremely friendly and always smiling and very helpful , even when my husband fell and broke his ankle they brought us a wheel chair and ice. The pizza is amazing and the free meals were great. The location id perfect if you’re thinking of visiting uluwatu and Jimbaran beach not far away.

the private pool, the location is near to Jimbaran Beach, the hotel also provides free shuttles to airport, kuta, nusa dua, and nearby beach !the food in restaurant is good and not expensive . The Villa is in very good price with what they provides. There are 2 big public pools as well.
Few meters away from Jimbaran beach, for a much lower price than hotels directly on the beach. Small hotel with a nice and calm swimming pool. Please staff. Good breakfast. Clean surroundings (hotel on a kind of private road). Good place to stay in the Jimbaran area.
This is a delightful older style hotel full of antiques and lovely wood carving. Beautiful gardens. Rooms are simple but comfortable. I enjoyed having a hot bath. We stayed to go to the visa office at Benoa Square. Also only 5 minutes walk to Jimbaran Beach.
The hotel is beautifully appointed. It's brand new with a fresh, vibrant feel. The location is lovely just across the street to Jimbaran beach and great sunset restaurants. A great breakfast, spoilt for choice. All great.

The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the massage and also appreciated the good restaurant on-site.
Balangan is by far my favorite beach/area in Bali, there is nothing better and this is the closest hotel to the beach. It’s listed as a hostel but you get your own room and have no shared facilities which is epic
Best value for money hotel in Jimbaran. Close to the beach, restaurants, local shops, spa salons. Great rooftop pool, with bar and sunset and plane landing view. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable.
Clean and welcoming hotel with good location close to Jimbaran beach and the airport in Bali. Good breakfast and swimming pool area is very nice set in a tropical garden. Rooms spacious and comfortable.

Staffs are friendly and helpful, nice location, 5 min drive to Jimbaran beach with plenty of restaurants next to hotel.
