We booked a 2-night stay with Jojo and his family, and it turned out to be an incredibly authentic experience — full of unforgettable memories. Jojo was extremely kind and delivered everything he promised. We explored all the locations by private boat, avoiding the big tour boats and crowds, which made the trip feel truly personal and peaceful. The snorkeling was amazing — vibrant corals, countless colorful fish, graceful turtles, majestic mantas, and even baby sharks! One of the absolute highlights was seeing the Komodo dragons up close — a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And the Pink Beach… it’s truly pink! The sand has a stunning rose hue, the water is insanely clear and turquoise, and it’s honestly the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. Arriving there on a small boat and having the whole place to ourselves made it even more magical. Jojo takes care of everything, so all you need to do is relax and enjoy. The accommodation is modest but very clean and comfortable. Don’t expect a luxury resort — instead, you’ll get a genuine glimpse into real local life on these beautiful, remote islands. If you’re looking for an authentic adventure with warm people, untouched nature, and unforgettable moments, this is the perfect choice.

If you’re an adventurer looking to truly experience and explore Komodo Island, this accommodation is the perfect choice. You’ll be staying with one of the rangers, Jeki, who has spent his whole life working on Komodo and knows the island inside out. He prepared a wonderful program and trips for us. We really appreciated his fair approach and transparency regarding prices :) Jeki speaks good English, and you can easily arrange everything with him on WhatsApp. Don’t hesitate to ask him anything – whether it’s about the life of the Komodo dragons, fascinating facts about the island’s nature, or the everyday life on Komodo. We learned so many fascinating things, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is simple – it’s not a luxury hotel – but it allows you to enjoy the authentic life in a local village. There’s even a small shop where you can buy some essentials. We recommend staying two to three nights to fully soak in the atmosphere. Thank you for the amazing experience – it’s something we will remember for a long time. To anyone wanting to explore Komodo on a deeper level, we highly recommend this place!

Amazing, clean, and comfortable homestay and super nice and extremely helpful host. The host is a ranger, and he knows everything about the komodo dragons and the area.The village was the best place to see them! There were many and they were big and active. Erjun, the host, will take the best pictures for you. He knows where to find them and how to deal with them. I also went with him to Komodo Park, where all the tours from Labuan Bajo come to see them. It wasn't even half as good as the village. In my opinion, to get the best experience and the feel of the authentic, local live, it's best to stay in his homestay and organise the trips with him. He will also take you to other places like Pink Beach, Padar Island, snorkelling with Mantas, and more. I have to mention that the food was provided for all day and it was delicious. And Erjun will help with boat transfers. He picked me up from the port and dropped me in on time. He sent me detailed information about what boat to take from Labuan Bajo and from what Port. He even sent me a picture of the boat to make it easier. Top class service!!! Also, a big bonus is that the property has internet. Thank you very much, and best wishes!

Do not book your boat tour, book this instead ! The host, Mr Jahiding, will be your tour guide. Everything is settled the moment you land in Labuan Bajo. A car will be there waiting to bring you to the harbour and a boat is chartered just for you to Komodo island and back. If you need a quick getaway and want the best wildlife and scenic experience, this is what you need. Komodo Village has one of the friendliest people you can ever meet. They are extremely welcoming and treat you just like family. The itinerary for your stay is so much better than the boat tours where so many activities are packed within your short stay on the boat. Living like a local, you can decide how long you spend snorkelling with the manta rays or just sitting by these prehistoric dinosaurs in the komodo national park (komodo dragons). During my stay, I managed to play football with the locals which was an experience on its own. The locals are so friendly that one of them even invited me to his personal home for a meal which was so heart warming. I was lucky enough to be invited to join the men to go on a spearfishing trip in the middle of the night which is not something your tour agencies can offer. Not to mention, I also caught my own dinner on my second day during snorkelling at one of the most remote beaches in the world. Doubt your tour boat allows for that. Everyone should experience this at least once and I would reccomend a good length of stay would be 4D3N which is perfect but 5D4N for the ultimate Komdo experience. Look for Mr Jahiding and I am confident he will make your experience here even better than mine. He speaks great english so communication was not an issue. You will enjoy the best and most delicious local food cooked by your very own home chef too (his wife). A very sad departure but I am confident I will be back. To Komodo FC, let's kick again one more time !

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The family who hosted us was very kind and helped arrange a local boat to take us to different beaches and snorkeling spots that were absolutely gorgeous (like manta point and pink beach). The host is a ranger at Komodo National Park and gave us a wonderful tour. It was very special to stay in the Muslim village on the sea and have a glimpse of life there. Everyone was very friendly and warm.

Beautiful villa! This is truly wonderful accommodation. Comfortable, large, modern, spacious, clean and bright! Well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with a garden and pool! This was the best accommodation of our entire trip! Furthermore, the owners are incredibly kind and helpful and communication with them was extremely easy! Highly recommended! It was a perfect stay and i hope i will be able to come back again!

What’s not to let be. The location and aesthetics are incredible! Staff so friendly, accommodation so beautiful.. each bungalow is right next to the beach and has its own deck hair platform at the water. The house reef is better than most dives I’ve been on and I’ve done more than 100 dives… there is just an abundance and diversity of marine life and beautiful coral. I went with my two sons 12 and 17 and they did not want to leave… they loved it all too from the pool table and pickle ball time .. to jumping off the jetty and day excursions… as well as super friendly staff- just wonderful. Sunrises over the ocean were incredible. I dived a lot! With Giant Oceanic Mantas - wow just wow - I felt safe and looked after by Neptune dive which is part of the resort. I’m vegan as are my kids and the gorgeous food team looked after us so well- definitely recommend the full board option. Water was always provided to our room - the room/bungalow was spacious and beautiful - traditional and the air con worked super well. Alex the resort manager ensured our stay was perfect ! Just couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this resort. Also staying in this island is truly the spot for staying nearest to the National Park. We went first week in December and had beautiful weather !
