Everything was perfect: friendly and welcoming hosts, beautiful location, clean room, delicious homemade breakfasts and just an incredible coral reef around island Thank you very much for the excursions organized for us with love. - Very various food, which was always good and a lot - huge terrace with a sun lounger and makramee hammock - great shower with water from the top (not only bucket) - very friendly good English speaking Rio (who was always there to communicate with the guests and have some chats) - cheap transfer boats - lots of trips available to different spots - we went snorkeling with Rio and the local along the wall - turtles, sharks and other cool fish to spot while snorkeling - use MapsMe (App) to find the hidden jungle tracks that lead you too the sunset viewpoints and cool snorkeling spots MAKE SURE YOU JUMP IN THE WATER AT NIGHT FROM THE JETTY BECAUSE THERE IS FLUORESCENCE PLANKTON IN THE OCEAN WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL!!!

Beautiful homestay, which is very well maintained and run with love and attention to details. Of course it is still a basic accomodation in a remote location with limited resources. But we were very positively surprised by the comforts. Great snorkeling reef, lots of trip options. 2 rooms with AC available for a surcharge.

Amazing place all round. Was the best way to end off a magical holiday. The food was excellent and the room and bathroom very comfortable. We did a manta trip with Ensi and it was just the best! Highly recommended staying here

Probably the best bungalows in Raja Ampat , spacious room with a large deck over the water . Frances organizes boat trips to where ever you want to go with a packed lunch .Really good food , congratulations to the cook!!. We saw lionfish , sea snakes , dolfins and reef sharks from the deck . The house reef isn’t bad either . Electricity until dawn .

Abundance of marine life, slow pace.

Abundance of marine life, slow pace. I’d recommend bringing a snorkel vest for Raja Ampat for visibility to boats and safety just in case caught in a current. Snorkeling here was just about as good as the diving in the area was. Recommend bringing a flashlight when traveling here. I had no problems with mosquitoes; nevertheless, I used the mosquito net every night. I recommend going to see the GIANT turtles about 20 minutes away by boat. There was a lot to do here honestly—-even if I just floated around the house reef.

i spent 3 weeks on kri , so i cant compare to other islands...

i spent 3 weeks on kri , so i cant compare to other islands except Arborek (kri reef far superior). other travelers say kri next best to Pam (Fam) for reef quality. you can walk the whole island on the beach at low tide except the southeast quadrant where there are no homestays. you can also walk to neighboring Mansuar Island at low tide; i snorkeled there twice - the reef extends all the way between islands - but it is at least a kilometer and maybe a bit far for most people. no stores of any kind on kri; Mansuar has a small shop at Yenbuba (not to be confused with Yenbuba Homestay on Kri) wher yu can buy sodas, bandaids, insect repellent, toothpaste, sweets. hike up the trail on a clear day to the top of the mountain where there is a good view of the west half of the island

i stayed only on kri so can't compare it to other islands other travelers say it was above average walk off the beach reef snorkeling surrounding the island better than any of the ten or twenty snorkel destinations i've been to in my life homestay fun, like a hostel, meeting exceptional people from all over the world i stayed three weekes on kri, maybe a bit long, but i was able to see all of the reef all around the island, snorkeling every day, taking off some rainy or cloudy days take the hike up the center of the island to the lookout on a sunny day you can snorkel the whole island from off the beach except the southwest quadrant - cape kri - which, because of changing and strong currents is better from a boat
