Owner of property was so kind and welcoming, really made me feel at home. The view from the room was unreal. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Before leaving Anan the host invited me to plant coffee plants in his garden so that we could share a cup when I return. Such a wholesome stay would definitely recommend! Thanks Anan

Goa Walet Cottage is a hidden gem, offering spotless, well-appointed rooms beside a sparkling pool, all overlooking a breathtaking river valley. What makes this place even more special is that Ozi, the wonderful host, has hand-built the rooms and pool himself—a true labor of love that adds to the resort’s charm and character. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the showers provide reliable hot water, ensuring a comfortable stay. The resort is ideally located just a short motorcycle ride from the nearby waterfalls. Ozi personally took us there in the morning, allowing us to enjoy the serene beauty before the crowds arrived. His wife’s home-cooked traditional Indonesian meals were a highlight, adding warmth and authenticity to our stay. Evenings at Goa Walet Cottage are exceptionally peaceful, with no passing traffic and no disturbance from calls to prayer, making it the perfect place to unwind. When I needed to find an ATM, Ozi even accompanied me to the nearest village—just one example of his kindness and outstanding hospitality. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with a personal touch, Goa Walet Cottage is an unforgettable choice!

If you are looking to visit waterfalls in the area this is your place! There’s nothing better than immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the mountains, a lush forest and the soothing sound of the water running down the river below. Pondok Rio is a real experience. You’ll feel like in a fairytale. Beautiful little wooden cottages, with a lot of attention to details. Surrounded by ponds with koi fishes and lotus flowers. A beautiful garden with tropical plans and flowers surrounds the property. Your own kitchen, if you wish, and a beautiful lounge area with internet, big tv screen and sound system. Tegu, the owner, is really kind and friendly, even though he doesn’t speak English. His friend came along to make sure we could communicate. They have breakfast included. Tegu’s friend will show up in the morning with a really tasty nasi goreng and bananas for a mid morning snack. We were set to go chase waterfalls! Thank you Tegu, we’ll be back!

The bungalow is spacious, comfortable, and comes with your own private bathroom. But what really makes this place shine is not just the lovely accommodation, it’s everything that happens around it. Pondok Inggris is part of a wonderful foundation where young local students learn hospitality and especially English. They are absolutely adorable — polite, intelligent, funny, and always caring. Every morning they bring you a freshly prepared breakfast exactly when you want it, together with delicious Lombok coffee. If you like, you can even join them in the kitchen and help — it feels like being part of a big family! They also organize great tours — from visiting nearby waterfalls to even hiking Mount Rinjani! The students will happily take you on their scooters and show you the beauty of Lombok from a local perspective. I warmly recommend Pondok Inggris to anyone who wants more than just a place to sleep — it’s an inspiring and heartwarming experience you’ll never forget. Good price-quality accommodation, modest but warm. The host just opened his homestay, and we were warmly welcomed by his family with tea and a local snack. The accommodation is located near a small village, close to waterfalls, and the way there is a real treat driving through the rice fields of Lombok. Perfect location for a budget-friendly traveller who wants a local experience and escape the high-season crowds in Tetebatu.

The terrace bungalow was the perfect accommodation choice to explore the heart of Lombok. The sorrounding rice terraces were stunning, the host was kind and welcoming, the breakfast was yummy and the room itself was clean and nicely furnished. We were also able to rent a scooter from Muni to explore the area.

The Bello bungalow is situated in a rural area surrounded by rice fields and nature. It is absolutely stunning!! The staff is incredibly friendly and ready to help! I'm a solo traveller and I felt very safe. You have to respect the local community, so it is better to have a proper outfit when going around. It is possible to rent a scooter as well, but there are local guides that can help you to arrange tours and show you around, and suggest the typical food to try! The room is absolutely nice, the ves is comfortable, is very clean, there is a window on the rice fields, AC and kettle. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!
