The management and staff at De Vindra Resort are exceptional - super friendly and incredibly helpful. We felt so welcome and at home during our 8 night stay at the resort. The rooms and facilities are of a very high quality. The view from the infinity pool to the ocean is breathtaking, and the sunsets from the pool are out of this world. The resort restuarant has great breakfast options, and the lunch/dinner menu is also very good. The atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind during our visit. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so special!

Comfortable place right on a quiet beach, close to restaurants. Very spacious room and bathroom with decent wifi connection and great view. The owner is very polite and friendly and super helpful. It is close to the "main road" so can be noisy during the day but it quiets down at night.

Really nice clean room, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. We found everything that we needed and even got 4 soft drinks from mini fridge for free! Welcoming was amazing, receptionist was really helpful, he explained everything about the island and where to go etc. Other staff was also super friendly, had some nice chats with them. Breakfast was delicious! We used laundry services here too, which were really good. And last but not least - the view! The view from our room was amazing! Stunning sunset from the pool area too and the view of montain Agung. All in all - we really enjoyed our stay here and even can say that in reality everything is much better than in the photos!

    Unfortunately , NP seems to have far too many visitors for what the road infrastructure can handle . The roads to all the local sightseeing hotspots are not wide enough for oncoming vehicle to pass each other without driving on the shoulder of the road ( if it exists ) and constantly causing further damage ,. The roads surfaced are very badly broken a terribly pot- holed . Vehicle journeys to the popular destinations take an inordinately long time with traffic banked up while cars try to pass each other when they can . On the plus ; the restaurants and beach clubs and bars serve excellent food and live music nightly was easy to find . And entertaining . The coastline scenery is fantastic . Itis why so many people make trip . The fast ferry services from Sanur to NP are very good and only 30 minutes .

    you can see it in 2 days pretty much. We did find some great little restaurants. Coco Penida and Tropiz. food and service were excellent. Penida is a must see but probably once every blue moon is enough

    We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are...

    We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are enough for a quick visit. But if you want to relax with the view there plan in more days. Be careful for overpriced taxis as there is no Grab or other alternatives. Take the scooter as much as you can.

    Nusa Penida is overly crowded by Tourist especially the Kelingking Beach. The roads going to tourist attractions are like off roads. The travel from Sanur to Nusa Penida was scary for me because of the big waves.

    The typical day excursion with speed boat going and coming to the island in one day is somewhat exhausting, in my optinion. Another recommendion would be to stay at least one overnight, to break the trip up and not be so rushed. Travel light for day trips or your overnight, as it makes it easier boarding speed boats and moving around the harbours. Overnight accomidations are very inexpensive and hotel dining options and restaurants near to the harbour are plentiful. Beach clubs are wonderful on the North shore near Prapat Beach and have nightly entertainment. Nightlife and restaurants are becoming very popular on this part of Nusa Penida.

    Beautiful island. Quite rustic but also quite busy. Best for snorkeling and the gorgeous instagram worthy beaches. If going snorkeling it is better to be an experienced swimmer who doesn't get sea sick. If you want to see Manta Rays go to Manta Point rather than Manta Bay. At Manta Point you have about a 90% chance of seeing them and at Manta Bay probably only a 5% chance at most. Gamat bay is good for coral and fish and if you're lucky, the odd turtle. You might also spot dolphins in the vacinoty of Manta Bay to Crystal Bay area while on the boat, or maybe from one of the sea facing Broken Beach viewpoints. Definitely try and get to see Kelingking Beach - it is as beautiful as you see in pics. Broken Beach is stunning too and Angel's Billabong pretty awesome. If you can get to the East coast, Diamond Beach, Atuh Beach and 1000 Island Viewpoint are worth it too. The roads around the island are in pretty bad condition and the traffic can be daunting (was there over Eid, so maybe it was extra busy). If hiring a scooter, just take care on the roads.

    The hotel could let us use scooters they had, which were cheap and the best way to see the island. It is a little out of the way, but super close to the beach which is a 4 minute walk away and stunning. Use a scooter to get into town or to Klingkling beach. It was a good stay- but places to eat require a scooter, or a walk to the beach where it is a bit basic e.g rice and fish. It felt welcoming and Nusa Penida was amazing.

    The property is located close to Crystal Bay beach. You would most likely need to hire a scooter if staying here as with Nusa Penida most of the sites are on different sides of the island, the location of the hostel means you can reach diamond beach within an hour or Kelingking beach in less than an hour. The harbour area is 30 mins on scooter. The hostel was comfortable and perfectly fine for the two nights I stayed

    Very beautiful hotel in a forest. It’s location is perfect in the middle of the island, we could easily reach anything by scooter. The hotel organises trips, transfers for you and you can also rent a scooter. Their balinese massage is a must-have! The food was also delicious. And the whole crew is very nice, the kindest of all we had in Bali and Nusa Penida! Definitely recommended!
