Light fluffy pancakes morning I left, afternoon I arrived hungry, they have lovely small menu, i had nasi goreng for lunch and lovely chicken veg I curry for supper with fresh local produce. Enjoyed meeting family and friends, one of which kept me company for a walk, lovely location in rice farms etc. Also, offered scooter ride to local lake and watched net fishing and met some locals. Perhaps they don’t see many tourists, I felt like a celebrity, everyone so sweet and friendly. Especially enjoyed the sounds of call to prayer surrounding me. Yes, it really is as good as all the reviews say! Sure, there are better hotels in the world, but it is without a doubt the best price / quality ratio that I have yet experienced. - excellent kitchen serving top quality all day dishes - tasty a la carte breakfast (fresh juice, barista coffee and a choice of "main") - reality as good as the images - more than enough sun loungers, cabanas, bean bags etc to serve all - much appreciated ceiling fans all over. Appreciated on hot days. - amazing staff with a relaxed, yet very professional approach

I loved how quiet and relaxing this place was! Upon arrival, we got a cold drink and towel and we were even offered an upgrade as one of the other rooms was available. The hotel organised a taxi for us from bangsal port to the hotel (2 hour drive) which was super helpful! The daily breakfast was my favourite part, you get a main, tea or coffee, fresh juice and a fruit platter and it was all sooo yummy. The staff were so lovely as well and everything felt very clean, including the pool.
