We came for 2 nights and stayed for 7 more! It seemed like a risk coming to somewhere with no reviews but we are so glad we did. INCREDIBLE HOMESTAY. Lovely view, very clean room and bathroom. Close to surf spots and near the 2 main resorts. The owner is lovely and so helpful. Our room has been cleaned with fresh sheets on day 4 We never want to leave! Thoroughly recommend anyone coming to kuta and looking for a homestay to choose Rasta!

The hosts were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included was very good too. The rooms were clean and simple with good air con. The location is ideal for exploring Ekas and the wider area, we rented motorbikes from the surf school opposite and explored all the pink beaches (max 50mins away), and some of the closer beaches too. Highly recommended!

Location, just a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, mini supermarket. Clean with spotless bed sheets and towels, simple but with everything that we needed. Water is not salty like in other beach locations, and good pressure. Kettle and coffee available. We used 2 rooms. In one we had an amazing Lombok coffee (the other room had a not so good coffee but we all used the good one 😁) The owner was very helpful. We asked for a trip to pink beach and a car to reach our next destination, at a good price and comfortable cars. He also helped us organise some surf lessons. We had breakfast at a restaurant 5 min walk from the property, included in what we paid for the room, and they had porridge that the children loved. Scrambled eggs were very good too!

We had the most wonderful stay at Lobster Bay – truly a place to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location. Nestled in a breathtaking natural setting, it felt like we had stepped into a little slice of paradise. The villas are beautifully and stylishly decorated, combining comfort with elegance in the most perfect way. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it feel both luxurious and homely at the same time. What really stood out to us was how incredibly family- and child-friendly the entire resort is. Our kids had an unforgettable time with a wide variety of fun activities and the always cheerful staff who happily joined in the fun. And that brings us to our final — but by no means least important — point: the staff. They are absolutely amazing – incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with a smile, it made our experience all the more special. We had the best time during our stay at Melody surf camp. The owner and staff are very nice and help you with everything you need (surf/swim gear, or recommendations for activities). The place itself is nice and quiet, great for relaxing after surfing the quality waves Ekas inside and outside. Melody is owned and managed by locals which we really liked. It’s quite new and will even keep getting better month by month I’m sure. They have banana pancakes now too 🙃. The rooms are clean and will be cleaned by the staff every day during the stay.
