I had a truly wonderful stay here! The place is beautiful, very peaceful, and perfectly designed for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, with a super comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with hot water. What really makes this place special are the owners – they are absolutely delightful, incredibly kind, and always ready to help with anything you need. They gave me great tips about things to do in Sidemen and made me feel so welcome. I had an amazing night here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality.

Everything clean, staff so welcoming and helpfull. Great romantic dinner in restaurant. Higly recommended. The best restaurant in Indonesia is the Asri in this hotel. The food is outrageously good and quite inexpensive! The hotel is gorgeous with great views from every cottage. The service is amazing and the staff quickly learn your name and what you like/don't like. I was not bothered by insects at this hotel at all. Highly recommend for a splurge!

We only stayed a late afternoon and night while making our way to the North of Bali. There are a few tours that you can do, and I plan on coming back next year for 3 nights instead. It’s the perfect place to unplug and get away from buzz of city life whether it’s in the south or back home in a large city.

I have been to Bali many times and tell people "it's not all traffic, crowds and beach clubs; you will find that Bali you want to find" For me, that is Sidemen, which feels like Ubud 50 years ago. So lush and beautiful. I did a silver jewellery workshop, and the rice terraces trek. I wanted to go white-water rafting, but I am over 64 years old and they had no insurance coverage for someone my age. On a previous visit, I combined a few days on Gilli Air with a few days in Sidemen as it is close to Padang Bai. It is a great location for exploring central and east coast Bali. Traffic is not too bad. The climate is a littler cooler than the coast which makes a nice respite.

Sidemen is a beautiful village, quiet and reminds you of how you imagine Bali used to be like. Having said that, it has some top eating places. Rice fields all around, silver classes, cooking classes, place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, stunning views, refreshingly not overdeveloped. For me it was a glimpse of the real Bali. Activities include walking through rice fields, swimming in waterfalls and making your own silver jewellery with the help of skilled local artisans

The beauty of the area was what I had hoped to find in Indonesia. It just took a bit to find it. A windy journey up into the hills made for an exhilarating welcome to the mountainous area of Bali. A lovely escape from the scooters & vehicles of Ubud & Legian, I can highly recommend the rice field walk & a visit to Gembleng Waterfall. The view from the top of the hill at Koli Koli restaurant is amazing. A must visit for those seeking an authentic Balinese experience

Likely the most beautiful spot in Bali. We stayed in family room one, which was very large and had a huge balcony with a stunning view. The garden is amazing and well kept. The restaurant has a good menu and a nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Actually, I’m amazed that we payed this little for this quality. We used grab to get a driver, that was cheaper than the hotel. Tip: visit the Sidemen Swing! The spot is stunningly beautiful and unlike the places around Ubud, it was quiet. My son was allowed to swing for half an hour!

Superb hotel, great setting in lush countryside. Wonderful attentive staff. Very nice breakfast, lots of options there was a seperate vegan and vegetarianmenu, we ate at the restaurant at lunch time and evening meal as the food was so good. Sidemen is a lovely place to walk around, also longer walks through the local rice fields offer nice views and fresh air. The hotel also offers traditional massages if you fancy some pampering and private yoga sessions too.

The location, the pool and the bungalows: amazing. Breakfast on your own little patio: very dreamy. The pictures don't really capture how pretty it is. And the owners can basically arrange anything for you. Just a quick walk from some nice restaurants. And i felt very safe, both in Sidemen and in the hotel.

It was clean, the host family is very nice and helpful. We could rent a scooter for 80k/day price and discover Sidemen. Altough we did not use other services, but they have alternatives (massage, cooking workshop, transportation etc) which is nice!
