This is a great hotel that I did not expect in Semarang. Bright lobby, great rooms, interesting and inspiring facilities. It may not be a well-known international hotel chain, but in everything this hotel surpasses, for example, a Hilton on the Nusa Dua beach in Bali three times over. Great breakfast, extremely friendly and unobtrusive staff, wonderful little details like macaroni biscuits that welcome you in the room. We were in the hotel twice in the space of five days, the second time we took the best room at the top of the hotel, which is the real poetry of the hotel's beauty. Praise!

Stayed one night on transit and liked the place so much I went back on my return journey. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and facilities were good and worked with no issues. Staff were very friendly, and location is exceptionally good, particularly if traveling via train from Tawang. Breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast I've ever seen, with two a la carte options and a side buffet.

Showing flourishing signs of rejuvenation, this city has one of the best preserved and restored historic centres in Indonesia, with charming streets, colourful neighborhoods, secret alleyways, flower markets, lush gardens and parks, perfect climate and gracious people. With its harmonious blend of multi- culturalism, multi- faiths and multi- backgrounds, the melting pot of Semarang is a true microcosm of Indonesia as a whole, from ancient temples, to ancient churches, monumental museums, all the way to modern-day Middle Eastern-Javanese mosques, showing that the assortment of religious places, are as striking as they are different, and the fact that they all exist in the same city is a true testament to the acceptance, harmony and appreciation for diversity of Semarang. I love the design of the room which is spacious, the location is also strategically close by DP Mall and Lawang Sewu. Breakfast also provided variable type of supple foods from rice to soto, cereals and deserts. I enjoy the night performance of live music in the lounge after a dayful of touring the city. Overall it's the best experience I had in staying at hotel.
