Everything about our stay was perfect! Being out in nature and away from the tourism noise made it incredibly relaxing. The resort has everything you could possibly need onsite, including a restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We enjoyed wonderful massages at the spa, complimentary breakfasts, had our laundry done, and experienced the most stunning Balinese candlelight dinner. Our villa was gorgeous and the staff were exceptionally friendly—nothing was ever too much for them. We plan on returning every year!

Everything about our stay at the Lumbung Jaya Resort was perfect. Staff was very friendly, food was really good and our room was amazing. Waking up to the jungle view is really nice. Everything was super clean as well. It’s a 40min ride to Ubud, but we knew this and did not mind. We were happy we stayer here where it’s quiet and more peaceful than in Ubud’s center.

The place was well-kept and cosy, surrounded by a beautiful padi field. However, there’s room for improvement in terms of the appliances. For example, the TV wasn’t working, and one of the fridges was faulty. Fortunately, we had two rooms and were able to use the fridge in the other unit. The pool was perfect.

The place and surroundings are exactly what I expected and sometime exceeded my expectations, magical place that captivates you and you feel like never leave the place. All the activities are relatively nearby like rafting, swings, quad-biking in the forest and above all, my favourites are waterfalls.

We didn’t stay the cliff to get to villa was too steep, to walk down for me and especially my 71 yr old mother. Place is old can use a coat of paint and some maintenance work done. Being there any person is a completely different appearance than marketing photos. We were such in a hurry to leave this sight and find other accommodations that I didn’t think to take photos. This was one of those things where a picture is worth a thousand words.

Near to Ubud and yet completely out of the city hustle. Stay inside Lots of nature, rain forests and rice fields and see the local countryside with daily ceremonies around the temples and witness bali life.

Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

Here you'll find both bustling activity and tranquility. If you appreciate Balinese life, including its religious traditions, this is the place for you. The friendly people are wonderful. As is typical throughout Bali, there are two major problems: the biggest issue is waste management (plastic, etc.), and the second is the poor road infrastructure.

Beautiful scenery, and a private driver is highly recommended. We had Hary Yon, who we booked for three weeks for the price of three full tanks of gas in the Netherlands. He took us absolutely everywhere, including various tours.

A nice organic feeling to the accommodation (stone and wood villa) with rustic charm. A near seamless integration of outdoors and indoors. Away from traffic and sellers, an oasis of peace and calm away from the heat and noise of places like Kuta and Ubud.We loved the authentic Balinese restaurant at the lodge and the staff we always super friendly and helpful. We also booked the Balinese cooking class, which was a real highlight for us.

What a wonderful place. Quiet, serene, natural location to spend blissful days by the amazing pool, taking in the jungle and rice terraces. All the staff were exceptionally attentive, helpful, and full of smiles. The food menu was comprehensive, delicious, and very reasonable. Highly recommended... will stay again on return to Bali.

Fabulous service by all staff. Wonderful breakfast. The villas were located in a peaceful setting amongst the rainforest and rice terraces and just short walk to the local village, restaurants and attractions. A beautiful outlook with our own space to relax in.

Such a beautiful place, lovely room and lovely people. Great location for the elephant park and ceking rice terraces. They also have a shuttle bus to take you to their sister company’s restaurant which was great.
