Marie is a lovely lady. She picked us up with her car at the bus stop, and she made us feel very welcome from the moment we met. The next morning, she cooked a delicious breakfast for us. When we left, she even offered us a ride back to the center. Everything was excellent 👌

The home was in an amazing location, looking out over the water! It was walking distance to a lovely pub where everyone was so friendly and also had delicious food. It also had a petrol station nearby if we forgot anything. The area was quiet yet so close to the beach and all the facilities the island has to offer. The owner was so kind and helpful throughout our stay which was amazing. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience in Achill, we will be back!

Nice place to spend time in Achill Island. Restaurant was great and always full booked. We get good information about the filming locations of Sailor my love and The Banshees of Inisherin -movies. Good service and friendly staff!

The hosts were super friendly, it's a beautiful place to stay. The location is very rural and quiet, the room i stayed in was fantastic, with a beautiful sea veiw very modern and clean, I would highly recommend here, and would definitely stay again.

I like the warmth and friendliness of the people I met, and the helpfulness. Achill Island is very beautiful and because I came by electric car I was delighted to find a new charger near the hotel - a practical point but important for me. Also having a car made getting around easy. If God could be persuaded to hold off the rain next time I visit that would be great

The parkrun on the greenway was lovely.

The parkrun on the greenway was lovely. We did a boat trip with seascape safaris - around the nearby islands and saw birds, seals, dolphins etc. Lots of lovely beaches, some historical monuments and several information boards at various locations around the island supplying local history. Surprising good food. We lunched , then the next day caked at , I think it was called An Dun - gorgeous food and amazing views of Sliabh Mór. We had dinner 3 nights, each hotel and Teds. All very good though my personal favourite was Teds. I would happily go back for another visit - beautiful location for walking, running, swimming or generally relaxing

Easy to navigate even if the roads are not great in parts. Some excellent views, and lovely beaches. You can drive up the mountains for outstanding vistas. But be careful as roads can be quite narrow. Weather was good when we needed it to be, but it was very wet at times. Crew Bay Cruise was very enjoyable and well worth a visit. Food on the Island (i.e.Teds and The Amethyst) was very good and reasonably priced.

Achill Sound was a perfect location for our family, not in the middle of the hustle & bustle of some of the very popular beaches but close enough to everything that was needed. We discovered a lovely beach at Dugort, went cycling on the Greenway and on the Island and eat at Achill Sound hotel. All good.

First visit to this area, unbelievable , my mind was blown on our drive from the sound into Achill island. I had no idea such a place even existed in Ireland! (From Monaghan :) ) Beautiful beaches, scenery & friendly locals.

Very nice, clean, spacious, well equipped house. Close to Achill Sound which has supermarket, pub and restaurant. Cycle/walking path to Achill Sound just outside the door. Great communication from Stephen on arranging to pick up the keys, etc. Nice quiet location.

Stayed two nights at this very nice hotel. It is ideally situated to tour around the wonderful sights that Achill have to offer. Staff were very friendly and the standard of food was very good. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Cooked Breakfast was really good. Marie was very helpful and informative and helpfully set up an iron and ironing board for me in a separate room. Good WiFi Good value for 4 people in 2 rooms. Close to Achill Sound

Eileen and Brendan do an excellent job, they are very welcoming and knowledgeable on the local are . The location is very peaceful yet only a short walk to Achill Sound . The breakfast was perfect.
