The breakfast was first rate, made to order and as they like to say in Ireland "prefect". Rolf had some marmalades on the table and I commented about how good they were. He explained how they came from Annie's Bakery in town and how he procures as much as he can from local supplies and farmers. We stopped at Annie's on our way out of town and purchased three jars of marmalade as well as some yummy pastries. Annie was a lovely lady who was welcoming and a joy to chat with. This is what I loved most about out experiences, meeting people and contributing to their local economy. Upon check-in I had a very unusual request, an 'above and beyond' request and Rolf didn't skip a beat in making sure my request was taken care of. Our room was clean, quite with a lovely window facing the bay. While my wife and I were reading in our room we could here cow's and sheep in the background, really tranquil and nice. This place is special and Rolf makes it extra special. My wife and I wished we had time to spend more days and if ever given the chance we will no doubt come back.

This is really our type of holiday. The silent and peaceful, countryside, surrounded by nature and cute animals, a lovely garden, a cozy old cottage with everything you need. Big plus for us was the fireplace that is the main reason we booked the cottage. We love to light the fire and enjoy the atmosphere! It means a lot to us during our trips. Smart tv with big variety of channels, we enjoyed a movie with the fire on, and candles in the sitting room. So many lovley beaches and sightseeing around, without 30 mins drive there is already a lot to see. Tasty and big breakfast in the morning, cooked for us by the host Nettie, that took very good care of us during our stay. We would have loved to stay more, unfortunately we could stay only 1 night. We have been blessed with the weather as well. Hopefully we will go back! If you are looking for all the above, this is the place. The place was easy to reach. Thanks for everything! Staff hospitality. Views. Safe Parking. Great breakfast. We were lucky to be upgraded to a room with a sea view on the good will of the hosts. Grateful for this, as there was an amazing sunset when we arrived.

After we were very satisfied with our first stay last year, we decided to come back this summer and continue our trip direction Co. Donegal form there. For the second time, Seamus, Marcella and Ella have been wonderful hosts, the family room was ideal for the four of us, breakfast was delicious as always and the girls enjoyed all the animals on the farm. In a nutshell: just great and highly recommended to spend time there!

We had an unforgettable stay at the yellow rose B&B, our hosts and Steven made sure that we had a most comfortable stay onsite - even for one night only. Certainly our best stay during our entire trip in Ireland. B&Bs are in general a great way to get to discover local stories and sites much better. Both hosts had many topics to share, if yo.
