Such a great little town where you can get the true essence...
Such a great little town where you can get the true essence of the Irish culture with really authentic pubs playing live music every night. I'd reccoment both Gus O'Connors Pub and McDermotts, food and pints were great. The town offers free shuttle buses to the cliffs of Moher and then we did a beautiful cliffside walk back into the town. I couldn't reccommend it enough. Doolin's main attraction is the Cliffs of Moher. a walk along the cliffs is a highly recommend. Landscape and views are amazing. The town is very small and quaint. Great food and pubs. The locals really look out for each other as well which was cool to see.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Ollie's walking tour of the Cliffs. Amazing experience you only get with this tour through private land. It is a moderate hike so wear good shoes and be prepared to climb over or through fences. Friendly, fun lots to do in a beautiful area. In two days we visited the Burren Smokehouse, went on the Doolin Ferry to see the Cliffs of Moher and Harry Potter's Cave, we visited Doolin Cave (a highlight), we played pitch and putt - twice, we listened to traditional Irish music in McGanns which had a great food and really fun atmosphere and fab staff. We had a drink at Gus O'Connors (again very friendly and fun) and lovely fish and chips at Russell's Fish Bar. Dooling is a nice "base" for exploring the region.
Dooling is a nice "base" for exploring the region. Of course the caves are nice but Aran Islands are boat ride away. Same for the Cliffs of Moher. The Burren has some nice spots and is great for several hiking paths. Dooling town has some nice eating places but we asked our host for his opinion.Guest review byChillBillNetherlands

A 2 minute drive or less than 10 minute walk. The owner met us on arrival. He was very pleasant and informative of the area and what it had to offer. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The building was very well lit up outside at night time when we arrived back which was an added bonus. Convenient location for the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Ailwee Caves. Russells restaurant and the Fish & Chips shop were both great! The hotel has lots of little details that make it well worth staying.
