There's nothing that I disliked about this stay. But some facts do deserve special mentions: 1. The super-friendly staff and owner. 2. The mountain view from the window. 3. Peaceful environment. 4. Delicious homely food. 5. Cleanliness. 6. Facilities. As mentioned in other reviews, it does have a long distance from the centre. But isn't it obvious that, somebody who likes to stay away from the crowd would love to stay here. If you are a traveller from heart and soul you must give it a try.

In this part of the world and at this price point, it is not often that one comes upon a place like Shanol Residency. Clean, comfortable, and refined, Boutique may well describe it. Our 4 nights were memorable. Our host family is warm, welcoming, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend it.
