This is easily one of the best accommodation experiences I have had in the world and I've traveled to over 40 countries. My husband and I planed to stay for three nights and we extended two more nights. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a great atmosphere. It felt really cozy as soon as we walked in. Also, we had a little patio right outside of our room where we would worked and drank tea when we were not doing safaris. The food was AWESOME - we ordered smoked pork curry, smoked pork fried rice, pasta with red sauce and white sauce, dal fry, boiled veggies. Everything was just delicious all the time and it came with a very good serving too. You don't want to miss the breakfast either. My husband usually didn't care about getting up early for breakfast but he did for Nature Hunt's breakfast. ALSO, the most important of all for us, was that the manager, Aovick, and all the assistants and servers WERE INCREDIBLE! We arrived really late the first night, and Aovick thought ahead and ordered dinner for us so we were welcomed by tasty, warm food. Aovick was just such a warm-hearted, funny, helpful, thoughtful person. He is both professional and accommodating. He asked someone to picked us up at the highway late at night, he let us extend within a short notice, he arranged safaris for us, he asked someone to wave down a van to go to Jorhat on the highway with us, he asked if we wanted to join other guests at the campfire. He thought of our needs before we did. All the staff was also all really friendly all the time and were always there to help. It was always so pleasant to interact with them.

Absolutely loved the house and the location next to the tea plantations. The staff did its best to meet my requests (they even went to buy a watermelon when I asked for a juice) and the food was varied and delicious. The owners are lovely people and make you feel like home. They picked me up from the bus station and organised a tour to Kaziranga the afternoon I arrived, as well as a tour to a nearby waterfall.

It was very easy to locate. The room has all the essential amenities and very clean and nice. The location is well connected with Kaziranga National Park and Kakochang waterfall. The host is helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby for good food.

The room was very spacious, clean and had fresh bedsheets/towels ready. The hosts Himadri ji and his wife were excellent in their hospitality. They also helped me arrange the best possible safari at Kaziranga and provided all the information that I needed. All the meals were fresh and delicious.

Place was very clean and peaceful location. Breakfast, lunch and dinner avaible in the same place and very tasty! Staff is super friendly and helping us go to the safari and everything what we need. Hope we can come back again

The hotel’s staff (Govin) is very kind, he even picked me up from the bus stop which I did not expect! And he took me around the area after check-in, showing me the villages and tea gardens before dropping me at the Orchid park. Food was good and affordable. Room is clean with comfortable bed and air conditioning. It’s quiet (was refreshing to be able to sleep without earplugs), location is serene and within walking distance to local market and bus stop, as well as a short 5 minute drive from the Central safari zone.

I had a great stay at Kodom Bari retreat. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. As soon as I arrived I felt relaxed and peaceful. It's a great location on the edge of Kaziranga national park and within walking distance of a friendly local village. Easy access to town via shared taxis frequently passing by the main road - but set back so I didn't hear any traffic noise. The early morning birdsong was delightful. The food was fresh and delicious, the rooms clean and spacious, and it was the most comfortable mattress I've slept on in India - great value for money! As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. I went on a jeep safari and saw a tiger!! I'd highly recommend staying at Kodom Bari Retreat.

Had a fantastic stay at Gorh Retreat Kaziranga! The serene ambiance, warm hospitality, and well-maintained facilities made our visit truly memorable. A very beautiful place with calm and awesome environment. Greenery all around and very quite. Hotel may be away from the highway, but that is what makes it unique because it has made it a calm and quite place. The staff were very well mannered and cooperative. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the interior was a bit old school type which is very soothing. All the amenities are working fine. Food are reasonable and tasty. Overall a great place to stay.
