- Food was amazing: so much selection and was never hungry after it! (breakfast, lunch, dinner provided was buffet style). The food staff were very nice. - Location: Beautiful area surrounded by monkeys, deer and birds. - Amenities: Pool was nice to cool down, bar area was nice to get a drink and other options like massages or table tennis were available. - Excursions: 1. Safari: this was so cool, we went twice! Saw elephant, leopard, wild hog and many more animals. Both safari drivers were very passionate and nice. 2. Nature walk: this was very interesting as our guide showed us lots of things and we also saw an elephant. Overall, a lovely relaxing place to visit with very nice staff!

My best time in India! I am deeply grateful for Kumar and his staff for hosting me. I came to India for a wedding and wanted to see some wildlife in Masinagudi. Staying with Kumar was the perfect climax of my trip. I don’t know what was best: The food? The warm-hearted hospitality? The nice and clean rooms? The great safaris with Kumar‘s friend Daniel? Everything was just great! Since I work in the luxury hospitality, I know how to appreciate a lovely hotel and genuine hospitality. Stay here and get convinced yourself. @Kumar: Thank you very very much and I cannot wait to host you in Austria and also see you again here. See you soon! Ps:. You can also hope for some late night visitors: Just yesterday an elephant passed my room.

It's a lovely place for families to stay! Mr. Vaid is an excellent host and proprietor of this place. Breakfast is excellent and can easily rate 5 stars. Staff were very obliging. Rooms were clean and very well maintained and have AC. Hot water for bath is available at 6am itself. Lots of wild animals like deer, elephant visit the surroundings of this place. All in all, and excellent experience and hence the 5 star rating.

    The property is near Masinagudi but if you are not used to travelling often, you might feel a bit uneasy as it is in the middle of no-where. But again, we don't want civilization to creep in nature. It is near Ooty but still a well kept secret.

    The route is very scenic, you'll get to see several wild animals on the route. There are good restaurants in the city. The climate is also very good, but try not to roam around at night as elephants might be there. Also, due to less pollution you can see stars clearly at night.

    Great location for people wanting to experience stay in...

    Great location for people wanting to experience stay in forest reserve. However a little out of way. Food choices in the hotel were limited but adequate and well cooked. Hot water was a plus. Masinadudi is not a place for much sightseeing other than the hit or miss safaris. Also no city center to hang out. So hotel or safari are only choices. Overall a unique and different experience from standard hotels. I do have to commend the staff for their helpfulness and curtesy.

    Peaceful village adjacent to the forest- full of scenic locations and serenity. Mudumalai and Bandipur are very nearby so that you can plan your jungle safaris Ooty is also not so far and the route to ooty is filled with scenic spots.

    The room and service. Room was very spacious, clean, well lit and spacious bathroom. When you see Kohler as bathroom fittings, you can understand the quality consciousness of the place. The care taker Raju is a hospitality school by himself. Hotel management students should learn from him Food is homely and tasty. I believe it is the Leadership - Mr Pushp Chand who ensures the guests are comfortable. Dynamic yet humble person! A big shout out to the entire staff!!!

    I want to thank you for your amazing hospitality during our stay. Your arrangements and recommendations were absolutely impeccable and spot on. We had so much fun at Masinagudi that this might have been the best trip of our lives. Even our trip to Bandipur was amazing. We even got to meet the main cast of the Elephant Whisperers! Thanks again for your kindness, and I'll be recommending all my friends to visit Masinagudi and Labdhi!
