Panaji was a nice stopover for 3 nights before hitting the beaches. Very relaxed city and easy to get around whether by taxi or by foot. Interesting buildings showing Portuguese influence, and interesting places to visit including the fish market, park along the river and local markets.

I Solomon Wusu Stayed with my wife in Pescador Resort Dona Paula Panaji on 31 March 2025 and check out on 2nd April 2025 with my wife. Rooms Were not up to the Mark, Staff is not at serviceable with no etiquettes, service was so bad, I Regrate I would have booked Taj in that same price with booking.com, But since it has sea view and we thought that this might be right choice, but we did mistake, we came from USA and First we went to Chennai in Leela Palace that was awesome but when we came to Pescador Resort In Dona Paula Panaji it was horrible. We would like to recommend every one not to go in that Pescador Resort their are many other choice with that price, food was not at all good.

Medical services should be improved.

Medical services should be improved. Taxi rates are a bit steep but local transport is also available on fixed routes. Fisherman's wharf, Kokum Kanteen, Panjim Inn and the Ritz classic are some of my favourite eateries there.

The Immaculate Conception church is beautiful.

The Immaculate Conception church is beautiful. With the Portuguese intricate interior. Fascinating. For Goan food visit George Restaurant just below the steps of the church. Walking on the Mandovi river boardwalk Watching the floating Casinos

Panaji is an excellent tourist destination for the neophyte...

Panaji is an excellent tourist destination for the neophyte to Goa. It is full of destinations to visit, hotels to stay at, exciting dining options, and good connectivity to the rest of the state and country. But it is after all another city, with its share of crowds, traffic, touts, taxi rip offs etc. Goa has so much more to offer, depending on an individual interest - may it be historical, nature exploration, culture - or just a lazy relaxed beach holiday.

For a 5 star Hotel their High Tea Service and Breakfast...

For a 5 star Hotel their High Tea Service and Breakfast service seriously needs improving. The staff did not have the basic skills to serve a table. Their attitude was very unprofessional and poor. The High Tea Food menu needs seriously reviewing. The price of the stay is overpriced for a 5 star hotel. The Barbecue Restaurant was good

We really loved the little apartment we stayed in in Panaji. The host was so friendly and welcoming. He sent around a pdf of things to do in the local area which had some excellent recommendations and ideas. The room was clean and well maintained. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was only a short walk into the Fontainhas district and to the bus stand to access Old Goa and Candolim. All round a really good stay.

Absolutely everything. Right from the check in to the check out. It is exactly as it look like comfortable stay with a cute little balcony, right next to the beach. It is located in a very quite and laid-back space perfect for people who are in Goa for leisure and wants to avoid any loud party noises. Special thanks to Anil for making things very convenient.

Good, neat and clean. Very traditional and vintage accommodation. The hotel has good staff, a very homely breakfast, and a good location! Have a nice small restaurant on the first floor to taste authentic Goan food!

Its centrally located , close to Panjim bus stand and in Fountainhas, which has old Portuguese style houses. Its also close to Miramar beach and Panjim market. Easy access to Goan vegeterian food nearby.

Basic western food. Very little choice of local Goan breakfast. Hotel catered to senior westerners.
