I was greeted with a warm smile at reception by Negi and even followed back to my car to collect my luggage for me and take it direct to my room. The room was luxury. It was so nice to arrive at the hotel after long days of travelling, and to have such a nice room to just relax in. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. And there were tea making facilities in the room Room service dinner was perfect as I really didn’t want to leave the hotel, and just wanted to rest. Then I was greeted by smiling staff for a delicious breakfast in the morning. An all round very pleasurable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lamrin Rishikesh, the locations is very calm & peaceful and near to the Ganges, perfect ambiance for relaxation. This is a great place, with very polite staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, all the equipment works, there are no dirty spots or stains on the walls. What is very important, there are no insects. Sometimes there is noise from the corridor, but having changed many hotels in India, this is a common problem. I can confidently recommend this hotel, it is an ideal ratio of price, quality, location.

Probably the best hotel in Rishikesh. A rare case where reality exceeds expectations. An excellently restored building. Everything is decorated with impeccable taste, it creates a real cosy atmosphere. Very good location almost on the banks of Ganga. We left with a great desire to stay in this hotel for at least one more day :)

    I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might...

    I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might of the Ganges River, see the temples and join my wife in the participation of the Aarti Ceremony. There are the local habits, roving animals and crazy traffic that may annoy a lot of visitors. But I chose to rise above those and focus on the rituals, temples, monuments, daily activities, Ashrams (retreats) and the view of the Rishikesh valley. The flow of the Ganges and the 3 cable bridges (Ram Jhulla, Lachman Julla, and Janki Jhulla), and the chanting with the ceremonies in the evenings were mesmerizing, humbling and a joy to the soul. I felt blessed to be there.

    Had a wonderful experience at The Hosteller Upper Tapovan. The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. The cafeteria was great, the food was delicious, and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

    Spending time by the Ganga was wonderful—great food (especially near Parmarth Niketan), calm beaches, and plenty of places to explore. The only downside was that some groups of youngsters were there just to smoke and drink, which can spoil the vibe. My advice: double-check your stay before booking so you don’t run into that issue.

    Been there before . This time I wanted a pooja done . The Panditji I was recommended by the security guard at Triveni ghat , was par excellence. Ganga Aarti at Haridwar is a once in a lifetime experience. The Rikshaw drivers are nice as well. Willing to wait while you finish what you want to . Rishikesh is surreal .

    The family room is ideal for a family of four and the rooms have decent views also. The property has a private ghat and temple where one gets to witness Ganga Aarti. The food spread is good and the staff are also very helpful as they provided Jain food for my wife on our request. River rafting and Ram jhula are nearby approx 30 minutes from hotel by car. There is a small jacuzzi pool which needs to be booked early incase one wants to use it and also they have a fantastic yoga session in morning.

    We did visit Rishikesh and stayed at the resort for 2 days. We booked a cottage and it was way exceptional than what we expected. The service at the hotel was also very good. The staff was humble and polite and always there to help u out. coming to the food, the breakfast was very nice and my 4-year-old daughter enjoyed it thoroughly.
