Me and my father booked this hotel as we arrived one day ahead of schedule. We ended up staying for 4 nights and cancelled our original booking. What a lovely hotel in a natural environment. The owner and the rest of the staff are lovely people. They make you feel like family members. We saw monkeys, many types of birds and giant squirrels from our balcony. The artwork in the hotel is very nice and done by people from all over the world. Pool on the roof is a big plus as well. Oh and I almost forget to mention the tasty lemon soda's you can order during your stay!! Everything is great, great, great.

Very bad experience of my whole 9 days trip to Kerala. The electricity connection was very poor and the bathroom lock was broken . The reception desk was empty most of the time , very poor administration .

PERIYAR TIGER RESERVE TREKKING IS VERY MUCH DIFFICULTY. MUDDED NARROW PATHS FILLED WITH BITING INSECTS MADE THE TREKKING MISERABLE. THEY RECOVERED ONE PERSONS ENTRANCE FEES ILLEGALLY TO MAKE IT TO A MINIMUM NUMBER. NO ANIMALS OR BIRDS SEEN INSTEAD ONLY BLOOD SUCKING ANTS.

Its awesome place to break from the routine.

Its awesome place to break from the routine. Overall prices are at the upper side as being tourist place. Food was bit challenging as by 8 am no restaurants were open and they serve for very limited time so plan it accordingly.

Must visit place for a travel Geeg!! If you love travelling hill station, this is a must visit place!! 2 full days can be spent with ample activities!! Must visit with friends and family!! I being hill station lover, I completely enjoyed bring there for 2 full days!!

My stay at Periyar was absolutely fantastic! From the warm welcome at check-in to the impeccable service throughout, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with a smile. Top experience is Kerala. There is a real nice backpacking / chill vibe. They combine nice, clean private rooms, with a nice common area with lots of comfortable options to hang out. The owners are super chill and one of the highlights of this place. This place attracts a lot of chill people, and it is super easy to connect, and for me that made my stay in Thekkady exceptional. For me this was exactly what I was looking for

Great location in Thekkady, near Park entrance & much quieter than Kumily. Lovely Park views from balcony. I saw Indian Gaur, Wild Boar, Sambar Deer & many species of birds. Rooms great value, comfortable, clean & spacious. Hosts Rani & Ram very helpful with booking local trips & onward travel. Rani made me a nice breakfast every morning at the time I wanted. Lovely homestay - highly recommended!

Lovely small hotel in a great location close to all the main attractions in Thekkady village, especially the entrance to Periyar National Park. The owner is lovely and very helpfully will pre-book local things for you and take payment with your bill when you leave. Try to get a room facing the garden rather than the road and on an upper floor.
