The staff at the reception said that they cancelled the reservation as it was not paid upfront . We were not asked to pay and as the hotel didn’t call us for advance payment we thought we could pay at the property! But during the peak time and that too when I was travelling with my baby it was very rude of the hotel people to just cancel by booking even when they had the room , I guess they were planning to take the booking for a higher amount than what I paid .
