Our stay at Hotel Geysir was fantastic! The memory foam bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and well-designed. The tasty breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including an authentic Geysir Bread. Additionally, Mr. Fabio's exceptional hospitality added a personal touch to our experience. We loved absolutely everything! The location was perfect for a stopover before heading out for a day trip on the golden circle. The restaurant across the hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Bathroom was awesome. Bed was big and comfy and the hot tubs outside were just amazing to spend time in. Big bonus having the big bathrobes and slippers to go straight from your room to the bathtubs outside. Loved our stay there and we will be back! Cannot recommend it enough!

Haukadur was easy to get around and the geyser is very regular and worth seeing. No long walks available at the site. Visitors centre was okay although light on info as to the geology of the site and how geysers work. Good cafeteria.

I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the kitchen but I could have stayed longer. Lovely kitchen and shared space with a fabulous view across the fields and to the Geyser so close. A lot of care and thought has been put into the guesthouses layout and decor. Quirky and beautiful.

The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. I appreciated that they offered an aurora wake up, although only until midnight and they did not see any during that time. I went out about 12:30, and saw them right outside the hotel, so it definitely is a good location for seeing the northern lights with no light pollution around. We had dinner there and it was very good, drinks were good as well. Breakfast was included, which we appreciated.

The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The best part of this hotel is its location, which is very close to several must-see spots in this area of Iceland. I was also very lucky because, being in a rural area, I could see the Northern Lights from the hotel. Another strength of the hostel is its staff. They are very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience!! Couldn’t recommend it more. It was a pleasure to stay here for the night. So relaxing being out in nature but still with all the comforts of a hotel. Lovely breakfast the next morning as well. The separate shower block, that is communal, is very clean.
