Isabelle and Marat are exemplary hosts and couldn’t have been more charming. The suite itself was exceptional in design and comfort and a great deal of thought had gone into the detail - beautiful linens and robes, well equipped kitchen and my favourite Skandinavisk toiletries. After some quite energetic salmon fishing it was wonderful to wind down at this wonderful suite, easing tired limbs in the sauna (with exceptional views) and falling into the most comfortable bed to dream about the lax! Quiet. Beautiful location! The cabin was fully set up with a kitchen. The washing machine was great. Had to google the instructions manual. All good.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

Lovely hotel and surroundings. The family used to have an overnight stay years ago and we were surprised to see how it has been renovated. Every detail has been thought through, to create good athmospere and entertaining for families. Swimming pool, hot tups, play room for kids and grown ups, cosy/quiet room with massage and super nice living room area for evening hang out. We highly recommend and will for sure visit again!

Exceptional place in a peaceful location off the beaten path. Cozy rooms with modern amenities, including a fantastic bed and shower. The host was kind and attentive, and even went out of her way to get us some ice from her neighbor. The breakfast was our favorite of the whole trip, especially the homemade waffles! We can't wait to return next time we visit Iceland.

A nice Icelandic cabin which is great for a nights stay. Warm & cosy with basic cooking facilities (hot dogs). Even though it was really windy you couldn't tell inside. Beautiful view of the valley next morning
