This is a superb rural lodge to sit back and watch the aurora over the magnificent countryside nearby. A perfect place to get away from the towns around Reykjavík. Great breakfast and lovely staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgarður Glamping! 🌟 The tent is exceptionally high quality, with real hotel-standard bedding, comfortable mattress, spotless linen… you almost forget you’re in a tent! The included heating kept us perfectly warm even when the evening temperatures dropped ❄️🔥. The shared bathrooms are spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. This place combines the charm of camping with the comfort of a hotel. A unique experience in the heart of nature, we 100% recommend it!

The hotel's owners were incredibly friendly, kind and generous (they even gave my daughter a birthday present). The tent was warm and very comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. Everything was clean and well looked after.
