Lovely property very cosy and warm.
Lovely property very cosy and warm. The surrounding areas are beautiful. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring. We made use of the cooking facilities for the week this was really handy. Perfect location for exploring the north.

The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it.
The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it. Very cosy and clean room, nice beds, great shower. Microwave, tea facilities, bathrobes for the hot tub. The cute horses on the land. The wonderful hot tub, sitting there at night under the stars waiting for the Northern Light was a magical experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good and the staff was so nice to us. We are vegetarian and they made scrambled eggs especially for us without bacon, thank you so much! We regretted having to leave, but when we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

This is a wonderful guesthouse with friendly hosts and wonderful staff. We were very lucky to find this warm place during our trip to Iceland. And I booked on the day of check-in. They have thought of everything. They added a bed for the child. You can brew and drink delicious tea in the hall. There is also a hot spring and there are robes for it in the rooms. Secluded, quiet, wonderful breakfasts. We would like to come back again.

Everything was so perfect. The room was very cozy, clean and big. The bed was very comfortable. There is free parking. It's on a beautiful farm with animals and the hostess is a sweet person and very friendly. The homemade breakfast was wonderful and delicious. One of the best we had in Iceland. We were sorry we didn't stay longer. We will come back if we ever have another opportunity :) Thank you!

During a round trip in Iceland, we stayed two nights at Nafarstadir Guesthouse. The room was very comfortable with a good bathroom, there was ample parking space, a comfortable sitting and reading area, with unlimited coffee and tea, a hot tub outside, abundant breakfast, a decent restaurant, and very friendly staff. All in all great value for money.

One of the best accommodations in Iceland, which I would recommend to everyone if they find themselves in this area. You have everything you need - a well-equipped kitchen, cleand bathroom, bedroom and living area. Mr. Baldur was a wonderful host and we had a nice conversation. His wife made very tasty homemade cakes.

Really enjoyed our stay here and would return. Clean, comfortable and nice decor (despite being a boarding school). Swimming pool and running track nearby. A good location to base ourselves for visiting Lake Myvatn and Husavik.Good breakfast too.
