Very comfortable bed a perfectly clean room in this sober modern design hotel. We enjoyed view on the extraordinary Myvatn lake and a family of sheep roaming around. The chef prepares exquisite meals, we would recommend the lamb a the chocolate cake. A bowl of skyr for breakfast is a must. The members of the staff were fantastic, kind and helpful, very professional. The sauna on the third floor has a view and the lake and terrace to chill out.

The house is lovely, we recommend! Not just very well equipped with anything you might need, but also spatious and really has a home feel. The hosts put so much effort into making our stay also informative and educational with the many info sheets and traditional items in the house. All the sights are super near by so we could reach the warm home quickly after windy and snowy walks :)

A very nice room, however small it was The beds were fine The bathroom was fine We were allowed to use the shared kitchen, and it was a great experience. The location is great and beautiful, in the center of a giant lava field. Staff members were very kind and helpful. we paid extra for laundry. the parking was in front the room door. we were very happy from everything.

Exceptional location with some of the best views we've had in Iceland. Very well-equipped apartment (dishwasher, new stove), nice patio. We didn't have any problems with the flies/mosquitos in the apartment, they tend to keep outside. Clarification: These are two separate accommodations which are next to each other: The studio apartment and the old house. I can only attest the quality of the studio apartment, which was superb.

A great place to stay with a gracious host and a beautiful lake view. It even had a washer for our clothes which was much needed on our 2 week long journey through Iceland.
