GreeceLovely place in a great location. We didn't have ensuite room but all facilities were very clean all day. Warm water all day too. Breakfast was awesome, perfect to kick off your day of expedition. Dinner was delicious. All staff looked super cool people. Definitely recommend!

BelgiumStaying at The Potato Storage was an awesome experience for us. The view from our room was breathtaking, as we could see the glacier. The apartment was neat and tidy, and Regina is a superb host. The kitchen was fully equipped. The apartment is half an hour drive from the Fjalsarlon and Jokulsarlon glacier lakes.

stunning, make sure you walk all the way down the trail, there are two other gorgeous waterfalls that a lot of people missed by not going all the way to end end of the trail (which is only a few hundred meters long).

Great location for glaciers and hiking.
Great location for glaciers and hiking. Comfortable beds, excellent shower products. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Bar was nice as well.
Definitely recommend this hotel when traveling through this area.

The hotel is great and the room is very clean and well prepared. The staff is very nice and well explained to us. We spend a great time at here. Will come back here to stay again. The breakfast is delicious. The view of the hotel is stunning.

This is an amazing place to hike and see some glorious views - especially on a clear day - which can be a bit tricky. We were extremely fortunate to have some of the the sunniest days recorded. Could not ask for a more comfortable hike. There are glacier hikes that you can pay for but honestly parking at the Park and hiking up yourself is something you will not soon forget. Not too laborious, but you defintely feel like you are exercising. Loved every minute of this hike and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Simple yet nice hotel. They have a restaurant and bar in the premises, which was nice since everything else is out of walking range (but short drive). We had dinner and breakfast here, it was all pretty good.

The location was good, so it’s close to hiking and to the glacier lagoon also. The only thing is there is not much nearby so you need to plan to eat at the hotel or the gas station cafe it owns opposite it.

Great location , our room had a view of the mountains.
You can walk to a great view of the glacier from the hotel in 20 mins.
Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Good breakfast.

There is a hiking trail at the back of the hotel which is a good place to see glacier, highly recommended.
