Very clean, comfortable and modern with all the facilities that you need. There is a nice and cheap coffee shop / patisserie right outside the apartment entrance which is very convenient plus the train station is just a few minutes walk away with direct connections to Catania, Taormina and Giardini Naxos. A short walk down the hill towards the sea leads to some nice hotels where you can go swimming and relax by the pool with great views over the sea and friendly bars. The apartment is also close to local supermarkets and restaurants. The host Vincenzo and his son Davide are excellent hosts and always very attentive and helpful.

The house had everything we needed, great decorations, clean and the balcony is a really great place to enjoy breakfast or chill in the evening. It's situated very conveniently ( great snorkeling at Ciclope beach, big supermarket nearby and places to eat- you must try Family food), close to Catania and highway entrance), park place in front. Car is necessary however. The host is very friendly and reachable. We were visited by Luna, a neighbor's cat, by the balcony as she loves to chill there silently, she was a nice surprise , clean and well behaved ( she's on a special diet please don't feed her:). We had a wonderful week at Alesia's home and definitely recommend it.

Very nice apartment, even nicer than the pictures show. Rooms are quite large and comfortable suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Kitchen is equipped with all you need and close by, 3 mins drive there is a supermarket with large assortment of local food. The terrace is impressively large and wide nice sea view. Closely there are plenty of restaurants. We appreciated a lot the parking inside the yard. The location is perfect for visiting east cost of Sicily. After visiting lovey towns around we were happily returning to the apartment for having a nice dinner on the terrace with impressive view. During the night is quiet and you can easily rest. We loved our stay in this beautiful and comfortable apartment. Special thanks to Mario, our host!

Really nice and friendly hosts. The apartment is spacious with fully-equipped kitchen. Everything you need for a stay with kids. Very comfortable beds where you can sleep well all night :) A big advantage is a huge, sunny terrace where you can have your breakfast or coffee in the morning :) The place was clean which is very important for me. The aparment is located in a quiet area, on a dead-end street where only a few neighours come to park their cars, so the neighbourhood is really quiet. I wouldn't hestitate to rent this apartment again in the future.

Corina’s place was lovely and very well-equipped, we especially appreciated having the washer/dryer. It’s perfectly located, and communication with the host was excellent. Corina was easily reachable, very understanding when we had a couple of small mishaps with the key and leaving things behind, and went out of her way to help. Highly recommend!

It is a nice place if you chose to stay near Catania, but...

It is a nice place if you chose to stay near Catania, but you need a car to get there. The parking is ok - there are a couple of parking lots near by. Since it was end of the season there were lots of places for free ( white lines). The apartment is nicely designed and has plenty of space, and the balcony overlooks the sea, and the view is stunning. The bathroom, however, needs to be freshened up, especially the plumbing and the shower. The owners might have been more outgoing and friendly.

Aci Castello (AC) is located a 15 minute drive from central...

Aci Castello (AC) is located a 15 minute drive from central Catania and therefore is out of the fray, as we say. The AC promenade has stunning scenery and south of AC is home to many lidos i.e., beach resorts. AC is close to Catania City Center, Mt. Etna and Taormina, three must-see attractions. You will need to rent a car or motor scooter as there looked to be very little public transportation in the AC area.

Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful.

Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful. Nearby is the volcano Etna. In the town there are many cafes and restaurants on the embankment. I recommend renting a canoe and a catamaran, go on an excursion to the volcano. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, it is clean and cozy. The owner helped us with all our questions.

We were there for 3 days in mid-February.

We were there for 3 days in mid-February. And these were wonderful sunny days in a good place. What struck us most was the fresh fruit every day that grew on the trees - tangerines, oranges, lemons. And these are the most delicious fruits we have ever tasted. Very friendly hosts. The only thing we were not used to was that it was warmer outside than in the house. We had to constantly turn on the air conditioner. Of the minuses, the fold-out sofa is not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything is great.

My favourite spot was having a beer at the beach kiosk. Would have loved to stay longer to explore more restaurants as we didn't manage to find a perfect one. Loved walking around in the evening and there even was the festa.

Locals were rude and often very Arrogant and attempted to overcharge far too many times. They hope you won’t challenge them about it. My advice is , Ask how much before paying and Check your receipts and bills . The town is scruffy and dirty. The vast amounts of discarded Rubbish on the streets is difficult to ignore. Definitely would not return. Positive note : The sea view and the sunset is beautiful.

I find myself arrived in a rainy day of Catania. The place of the apartment is by the sea, and is very quiet. It has washing machine, hot water very fast and nice the decoration shows the taste of the landlord. Andrea is a very easy going landlord. He gives me everything that I need, including an umbrella. He is really nice and try to treat every guest as well as possible. I will definitely return. In a sunny summer maybe. Grazie mille Andrea!

Donatella was so kind and helpful. A reservation at a previous hotel was canceled unexpectedly at the last minute and she extended extra courtesies to make sure I was taken care of. The facilities were clean, well stocked and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Normal human size shower. (Not a given in Italy.) The location was in the heart of Aci Castello steps from the sea, many shops and restaurants.

Lovely and comfortable accommodation. Clean bathroom with great shower. Thank goodness for air conditioning as it was super hot in September when we traveled. Delicious breakfast, fresh fruit, toast, cereal and tea and coffee. Helpful friendly hosts who used translator app to communicate with us in English. 10 min walk to restaurants and beaches.
