A very enjoyable stay. Excellent contact with the owner throughout the stay. The apartment is located in a cozy building with views of Mount Etna and the sea. Pleasant surprises in the fridge – water, soft drinks, coffee, tea, sweets for the guests, a coffee machine, kettle, gas stove, and dishes. Two bathrooms are available to guests. A supermarket is about 700 meters away. I recommend it to those who value peace and quiet and travel around the island by car. It's close to Mount Etna, Catania, and Taormina. We thank the hosts for a pleasant time in beautiful Sicily.

Our stay at this property was simply perfect! The place is beautifully maintained, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is excellent – close to everything important in the area, yet peaceful and private. The hosts are wonderful – kind, friendly, and always with a smile. They truly make you feel at home. The entire property is gated, and the fact that the owners live on-site gives a great sense of security and comfort. The pool is amazing – clean, well-kept, and with a stunning view of the sea. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed – a great kitchen, very comfortable beds, constant hot water, and perfect air conditioning. You can really feel that every little detail was thought of to make guests feel comfortable. A perfect place for couples or families looking for a relaxing, high-quality vacation with personal and warm hospitality. For us – 10 out of 10!

The apartment is extremely clean, as we travel during the winter time, she turned on the heating before we arrived. all the beds and blanket is very comfortable and warm. Even though it is a small town, a bit challenging on driving at night. but everything is fabulous! there is pastry shop in the neighborhood next to church, is a hidden gem. making sure you visit there too!

This is no doubt the best place to stay to visit Taormina and Catania. We’ve started here our road trip in Sicily. It couldn’t be better. The staff is amazing, very professional and still warm and helpful. If you can’t stay here, at least try the restaurant and take every advice from Martina, the sommelier.

Everything was excellent. We booked Il Vulcano last minute after a really bad experience in an other local hotel. We were really surprised to arrive in a cozy oasis as Il Vulcano it is. We were welcomed by the smile and kindness of Silvana and Toni, who also gave us many suggestions for visiting the area and beyond.
