We had a great time in these apartments! They are fully consistent with the description, but no words can convey the atmosphere of unity with nature that you can experience while living there. Every day we were surrounded by the sounds of cicadas, the singing of birds and the chirping of grasshoppers. It was a great opportunity to watch the stars in the evening and at night while sitting by the fire! Special thanks to Mario and Julia for their hospitality! They are very polite and caring hosts! We were completely satisfied with our stay, and our expectations were exceeded in every respect. This apartment is a real gem, and we will definitely want to return here. The accommodation is incredibly spacious and luxuriously equipped. We had a generous living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms available, which provided us with complete comfort. The kitchen was fully equipped and ready for any cooking needs. What truly captivated us, however, was the owner's incredible hospitality and generosity. In addition to all the standard amenities, a lot of kind gifts awaited us in the kitchen, including sweets and thoughtful gestures for the children. Such a personal and warm approach is rarely seen today! Thanks to all these details, we felt right at home. We highly recommend this accommodation and thank the owner once again for an unforgettable experience.

The lake and views are fabulous.

The lake and views are fabulous. The village is unspoiled by excessive tourism and many of the restaurants seem to be mostly visited by Italians. The transport infrastructure is poor. Public transport is difficult to navigate and the bus and train schedules are unclear and confusing. There’s nit a lot ti see apart from the lake. The Sunday ferry was cancelled and there is no other way to travel on the lake.

Anguillara is a very beautiful place and a welcome respite...

Anguillara is a very beautiful place and a welcome respite from the “madness” in Rome. I would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake that only operates in summer. Great value for 5 euros. We didn’t have a car and at times it was difficult to find out accurate times for the buses and the boat across the lake. The tourist information booth was open only in the afternoons.

Beautiful old town right on the lake, next to a resort on the lake popular with locals and foreigners alike. Lots of bars and choices of cuisine. Stunning views. Lake swimming and other activities (wind sail boats, kite surfing, wind surfing). Having your own transport would make exploring the wider region easier although train and shuttle bus links through to Rome are easy.

You can do everything on foot without having to take the car...

You can do everything on foot without having to take the car. Unfortunately, in Anguillara, all parking spaces are blue. The best part for swimming is the valley vineyard. The best restaurants are Lo Sfizio and Toto Pescheria.

Beautiful, it's improved dramatically in recent years. The lakeside promenade has been beautifully renovated, the central square is lovely, and the restaurants are lovely. As usual, the water is crystal-clear and the food is excellent. Anguillara and its surrounding area are definitely worth a visit. I personally recommend a tour of the ancient Canale Monterano, where Il Marchese del Grillo was filmed (very evocative).

If you're traveling with kids in the summer, I recommend the Il Delfino beach club in Vigna di Valle, 10 minutes from the B&B del Lago. Equipped with inflatables in the water, it ensures fun for kids and relaxation for parents. Another highly recommended spot is the Da Lalla restaurant... I really can't find the right words to describe the deliciousness of the dishes and the friendliness of the staff.

This apartment was booked as part of a longer trip through Italy where we stayed at multiple B&B’s and apartments including breakfast. This apartment is exactly as shown on the pictures. It’s a great and clean apartment which is very nice decorated. It has a tall and very good bed what is a great plus. Next to the few minor points, the apartment it self is a 10 out of 10 for us. (Couple with a big dog)

in a good location, very central, lots of lovely restaurants with amazing food to choose from. Great views across the lake, good sunsets, accessible for the beach and swimming. Anguillara Sabazia is a great place to stay and the apartments were very comfortable. Alessio was very helpful and responsive.
