We had a wonderful stay with Maria. The apartment was perfect. Full kitchen, comfy lounge, great shower, heating, and comfortable beds. She was an excellent host. The breakfast options were great as there were minimal eating options in the small town. We had a lovely dinner at Barbara's. We picked the location based on wanting to see the thermal pools and they exceeded our expectations. We would definitely highly recommend La Balena Rosa.

The hot springs are in a natural setting and they are amazing - much less crowded than Saturnia. There are more hot springs at an old destroyed marble mine which the workers made into pools - locals go there and they are easy to access

Apparently most people come here for the thermal springs.

Apparently most people come here for the thermal springs. They are really good, although in the afternoon there is no place to go, except where the water is colder. (In summer, probably, that's what's nice.) The village is also beautiful, there are restaurants, a small shop, etc. It's a good opportunity to explore other towns and landscapes of Tuscany from here.

The contact with nature is excellent.

The contact with nature is excellent. The waterfalls are very pleasant, especially in the spring and autumn seasons. There are beautiful medieval villages nearby. You can hike in the nearby Mount Amiata, with its beautiful woods and chestnut groves. The food is good. The apartment is close to the waterfalls, so you can walk there.

The destination is perfect for a weekend of pure relaxation, surrounded by nature and silence. Not all restaurant owners have the right attitude to accommodate so many customers. We had a great time at Spugnone! Marta is very friendly and serves excellent quality dishes!

The municipality should do some maintenance, given the economic benefits for the entire area. It's nice that they're free, but the trail and signage, which are truly lacking, need to be improved. We ate at a restaurant on a hill, which was truly excellent.

The accommodation was great, but there was a problem with noise from the neighbors upstairs and the hot water tank only worked at night, so sometimes it was difficult to get hot water. Otherwise, the outside was lovely and quiet; honestly, it was the best part of our holiday! 😀

The place is simply adorable! It was superbly clean and extremely comfortable, with big rooms, all the amenities and a cute small front and backyard green terraces. It is extremely close to the Bagni San Filippo and its White Wale waterfall, like 5 min walk. In the apartment there are clear instructions for the restaurants and shops since there are none in its close circle. We really wished that we stayed a few days longer, because we really liked the apartment and the location itself.

My wife and I spent two days and two nights at la balina Bianca house and found it very comfortable. It is a recently remodeled ground floor unit with large courtyard in the front and large enclosed patio in the back. The unit was very secure and very very modern inside with all the comforts that you would expect of a high-end hotel. The snacks and crackers and coffee to get us started with a pleasant surprise as was the neat lighting and modern conveniences.

The location in Bagni San Filippo is good, just a 1 minute walk to the trail to the hot spring. The host was comunnative, and it was easy to get access to the apartment. The apartment was warm, and the kitchen was well equipped.
