We stayed here as our first accommodation on a trip around the whole of Calabria. First of all, there is a private parking space right below the apartment, which was very convenient. When entering the room from the spacious terrace with an ocean view, we found the living area to be several times more stylish, modern, and new-looking than what we had seen in the pictures. The bedroom had plenty of storage, and everything you’d need for a longer stay was provided — from seasonings to detergents, truly everything was there. Unfortunately, during our stay the wind was very strong, so the waves at the nearby beach were quite high. While the kids enjoyed it, I didn’t feel like going into the sea myself. Luckily, we were able to relax by the beautifully maintained pool on the property instead. There are several supermarkets, restaurants, and bars nearby, so it’s perfect for those traveling by car. 'll also mention how beautiful the sunset looks from the terrace.  Jan, the owner, responded quickly even to the smallest questions — much appreciated!

We used this accommodation as it was our half way place up to Rome. The family who own it are lovely and friendly and go out of their ways to make you feel at home. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast. The pool area is delightful and everything is very clean. The children enjoyed the peacocks and pet dogs. Would have liked another day here :)

We went to Diamante for the Pepperoncini Festival(well worth the visit just for that) and just needed a place to stay. Hotel Ferretti was a pleasant surprise that exceeded our expectations considerably. The hotel and rooms were immaculate, we had rooms with large balconies overlooking the ocean, and it was a 10 minute walk to the center of town. The hotel caters mostly to European travelers and we were the only Americans but every staff member was very gracious and helpful even with a bit of a language challenge. The hotel has a private beach which included complimentary umbrella and beach chairs and a bar/restaurant is on the beach, as well. There are also other incredible beaches nearby and would recommend having a car if possible.

Our recent beach holiday was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location truly couldn't be better, directly fronting a stunning stretch of crystal-clear ocean and a pristine white sandy beach. We were treated to the most breathtaking sunsets every evening. While the staff spoke limited English, it was never an issue; they were incredibly warm and accommodating. Fabio, in particular, was always exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. Our room was serviced daily, with fresh towels and bed linens provided, ensuring a comfortable and clean stay throughout. It was genuinely a dream beach getaway for us. Just a heads-up, you'll definitely want a car to explore the surrounding area.

The hotel is on the nice terrace above the seaside, nice view of the sea, some rooms have nice view of the old part of town and mountains, too. Nice and helpful staff, mostly also English speaking, nonstop reception. 15min walking from the railway station, 10min from beaches & good supermarket, the old town is another 20min walking. Not big but nice swimming pool on the terrace. Very good breakfast, especially the choice of homemade cakes.

Overall a nice stay but the hotel itself is a bit dated. The pool area was nice (4€ cost of a towel though) and breakfast was ok for the price. The location is halfway to the beach and old town. Air con + comfortable bed
