Poggio delle Molare A gem of a retreat Our experience started with an incredibly warm welcome from Monica and Eleanor who led us to our beautifully decorated tasteful suite housing a super king size bed with soft Egyptian cotton sheets, volumptuous pillows, l found myself searching for all the manufacturers labels wanting to create that effect at home. The bathroom was to die for with a whirl pool bath in one corner, individual his and her sinks on the vanity table with bath and shower toiletries, soft thick towels , dressing gowns hair dryer and flip flop slippers on the shelf below. A magnificent walk in shower. Each of the bedrooms has a private balcony overlooking the gardens which are shady and peaceful leading down to the beautiful pool area. They don’t provide lunch or dinner but give you a wonderful breakfast of baby croissant, pastries and breads with jam. Plates of cheese and ham, mozzarella with tomato, yogurt with honey and fresh fruits , delicious coffee and juice. Monica told me that she wanted to create a place that was peaceful and tranquil, we certainly felt that and our only regret was that we only discovered it on our last day before going home. I am so looking forward to paying them another visit.

Amazing location right in front of Lago di Bracciano! - good selection of pastries and continental dishes for breakfast. The rooms we had got a magnificent view of the lake , castle , tennis courts, pádel court and the swimming pool. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly! We wish to spend more time here and hopefully will be back ! 😍🥰😘

Amazing appartment! Everything you need and more is there. Very friendly and helpfull people. The location is amazing as well, right next to the castle and in the city centre. Everything was lovely!! We will definately visit again if we ever get the chance.

It’s a lovely medieval town close to a large lake that has other equally pretty towns worth a visit. The lake is very quiet out of season and in the summer is probably busy with boats and other traffic. Restaurants in Bracciano are reasonable and served good food for a variety of tastes. Nearby national park is worth visiting and offers forest walks and beautiful views.

Bracciano is vey good for a day trip from Rome, to visit the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle inside: furniture (I love the ‘baldachino’ beds), guns and armors, and for photos of the lake and medieval town from the terraces. In the evening there’s a special lighting for a picture of the Castle. There are very good restaurants around the castle like the Ristorantino and Trattoria del Castello.

An old Italian town with a castle overseeing a lake with reasonably priced and good Italian food and gelato. The medieval castle Castello Orsini-Odescalchi is well preserved. From sightseeing point of view and for food, it would have been enough for 2 nights.

Amazing town, high up in the mountain overlooking Lago Bracciano. Recommend a car, but there’s limited parking nearby. Walk up lake is steeeeep! Do not try to walk on the road, because there are no sidewalks. There is a VERY STEEP paved short-cut.

Amazing apartment, neat, clean and very comfortable. We arrived early and asked Laura if she could store our bags. Instead she gave us the keys and let us check in- with no problem!! Bracciano is absolutely stunning- felt like stepping into a scene on a postcard!
