The experience we had at Bergi was fantastic! The scenery and views from every area of the farm truly took your breath away. The food was incredible and felt very authentic being home grown on the farm. The staff is what made the stay truly special. From the moment we arrived they were warm, welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend booking the cooking class. Pina took us through how to make home made pasta, which she then cooked for us and we got to enjoy in the panoramic dining room. I highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable time! Thank you to everyone at Bergi who made our stay so special.

Castelbuono is a beautiful midieval town with the best food that I have had during my travels in Sicily. Beautiful mountain scenery and very laid back. It is not on the main tourist trail which makes it even more special.

Lovely little town, with loads of places to eat and drink.

Lovely little town, with loads of places to eat and drink. Close to Cefalu, but far away enough to not attract many tourists. It felt like a very authentic experience, where the waiters at the restaurant knew everyone who came in to eat, and the guests seemed to be old friends. Juts lovely atmosphere overall.

As a small town Castelbuono is very typical of a Sicilian...

As a small town Castelbuono is very typical of a Sicilian town. Lots of narrow winding roads, steep cobblestone narrow roads. Food is excellent and prices are reasonable. The only criticism we have is that people are allowed to smoke in restaurants that are open air but in reality canopied so you get free second hand smoke!

Away from the crowds, yet very close to the places of interest as Madonie park and other cities, as Polizzi Generosa and Cefalu or other costal places. The roads in Sicily are not good at the best of times and...

The roads in Sicily are not good at the best of times and are currently overrun with tourists, so driving to any of the nearby walks was fairly off putting, though doable. The town itself is quite interesting and friendly with a variety of eating places with local specialities, as well as shops for buying fresh fruit, vegetables and cheese. We ate very well and enjoyed the mountain walks we did in the nearby parco del natura and especially the views, birds and wildflowers. Parking on the edge of town and then walking is far preferable to navigating the busy, narrow streets.

Had lunch at Pizzeria San Paolo a couple times. Very good. Had dinner at Vecchio Palmento twice. Very good. Being a photographer, I loved just walking around town and going inside the many churches. Explored the castle. Get up early and get ahead of the donkey's picking up trash in the historic area. I would definitely return to explore more. Host was excellent and very helpful. Map of town really helped.

Superbe welcome. Guian was so welcoming, even escorted us the easy way to the supermarket to avoid narrow alleys! Top hiking advice too. Thank you. Responded to questions very speedily. Loved the terrace, the space of the house, the car parking. We liked the 600m steepwalk into town, pretty easy and walked off dinner on the way home! Well equipped kitchen and first place in sicily with chopping knives! Quiet area felt like a lovely neighbour hood. Wanted to extend our stay but already full. Highly recommend.

Host was receptive and met me right near the apartment. The building itself is beautifully restored and nicely furnished. It is just a 2-minute walk to the main piazza. The mountain view from the bedroom is beautiful and wonderful to see when waking up in the morning. Everything was nice and clean. All in all, it is a very nice, cozy little place to make your home for a few days in Castelbuono.

The apartment is what you see in the pictures, small but very very nice and very clean. Actually was better than the pictures, a bit surprising because you can notice the attention to the details. The apartment has everything that you need. Lia and her husband were very nice and helpful. Castelbuono was a very nice surprise, very authentic and charming.

Everything essential that you need is here! Perfect for couples and families travelling by car. Host was very helpful, and answered every enquiry. Always a good point of contact for enquiries. The view from the outside seating area is terrific and Castelbuono is full of old fashioned charm.
