Case Di Latomie is perfection! It’s so peaceful, set in an olive farm with a beautiful swimming pool, outdoor areas, breakfast room and separate restaurant. The staff there were so incredibly welcoming, warm and helpful. We loved chatting to them and they were amazing with our young boys. The rooms are spacious and really clean, and our bed was so comfortable. Breakfast is delicious! If you’re looking for a tranquil break that’s also close to things to do and larger towns, this is the place for you. The beach is only a few minutes’ drive away, and there’s an amazing archaeological site with the most incredible temple only 10 minutes away - definitely worth seeing! Such a great and welcoming place - I wholeheartedly recommend.

ery nice stay! You get what you pay for and even more. Lots of space and everything what one could need is supplied. We were welcomed quite warmly, communication was easy (if you have someone who speaks even a little amount of Italian, the owners are open to use a translator app as well, though!) Quiet area with lots of parking opportunities free if charge by the street. It was noticeable that the owners take lots of care of the space and put great effort into hosting! Definitely recommend!!

The owner was very kind and arranged a lift from Castelvetrano station to the apartment. Giuseppe who came to pick us up was also very helpful and gave us many informations. Near the apartment there was bus stops to go to Selinunte and Sciacca. We enjoyed visiting the Chiesa di San Domenico near the apartment. Also all the people we met in the streets of Castelvetrano were kind hearted.

The villa was very clean and well equipped (dishes for cooking, AC, washing machine, even a beach umbrella and a chair). The villa is very close to the sandy beach (5 min max), it wasn't crowded beginning of September. Supermarkets and gastronomias are within very short drive or 15-25 min on foot. The garden around the villa looks much better than in the photos - the trees and plants are grown now and there's green around you, a fig tree is a lovely bonus. The owners are helpful and very quick to response, they don't speak a lot of English but it's ok if you have an online translator.

    The place itself is lovely.

    The place itself is lovely. Rooms full of character. pool and gardens are top class. The only negative was the cool welcome we got from the guy (owner?) when we arrived and the complete lack of communication about evening meals or any refreshments available during the day. The venue is in a beautiful rural setting but as there’s no fridge in the room it would be useful to know whether any food or drink was available. This could have been a language barrier issue but easily remedied with an information sheet. The menu was not that clear what was on offer and the staff didn’t really know what the English version was - our fault, not theirs. Don’t be put off about staying here - just be prepared to use google translate if you don’t speak the lingo.

    The town was a surprise as we discovered the parish church...

    The town was a surprise as we discovered the parish church with its frescoes and lovely interior but - more importantly - the church of St Dominic with its stunning and impressive sculptured interior. Definitely well-worth visiting. Only 15 minutes drive away is the archaeological park of Selinunte with its layers of history unfolding before ones eyes.

    Pretty property surrounded by acres and acres of ancient olive tree covered hills. Our room was comfortable and clean and Ruth the manager made sure to accommodate all of our requests and needs. We ate dinner there every night and the food was good . Good breakfast too. Great swimming pool. Laundry facility on the property. Good location to drive and see a lot of the main towns. Oh and one night there were Sicilian folk music and dancers. That was a nice treat.

    Staff were very helpful. We dined in and had an excellent dinner prepared by the very caring chef who really looked after us. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, best so far on our trip. Room was large and comfortable. Spa needs to be booked and is extra. Roof terrace a nice addition. We used the hotel car to get to Selinunte Archeological park as the bus was not convenienkty timed, bus back.ok.

    Great location near Selinunte on our road trip round western Sicily. Lovely clean big room with comfortable beds and fabulous shower. Very good restaurant with excellent value set menu and friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast in lovely room behind reception.
