Absolutely fantastic place! If you’re looking for a classy but not too posh accommodation, pick this one and you’ll be spoiled with the surrounding nature, very good food, and extremely friendly staff. We picked the family room with patio and it was excellent. The bed size is enormous- about 2.5 meters WIDE! The room (or rather the apartment/suite) is in the stand alone building, so you are getting total privacy. I absolutely recommend this place!

This is a delightful hotel with the most amazing and helpful staff. The whole building has been tastefully renovated and rooms are lovely. The property is just off a main route out of Florence, which makes it easy to get to Florence, Pisa, Chianti region and the rest of Tuscany - as long as you have transport. Breakfasts were very good with inside and outside seating. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and gazebos. They have a little spa facility and they bring in an outstanding masseuse if you book. I like a good massage and we live in Thailand, yet this is one of the best massages we have ever experienced - I had hot stone and my wife had office syndrome and acupressure. You are a 10-20 minute journey from the main trainline (depending on the station you want to go from) and this runs Florence-Pisa and beyond (train system is excellent too). Incredible restaurant just across the road, so don't be put off by not having a restaurant on-site. There is a bar service in the hotel so you can have drinks - alcoholic, non-alcoholic, coffee, etc. I think that is a 24 hour service?
