We love Fossacesia, but when you travel is every bit as important as where. Most restaurants and Trabocchis were not open, most retail not open, and pool and beach was not open even though the weather would have been considered temperate anywhere else

Beautiful sea and excellent, affordable restaurants. Plus, the magnificent Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere is worth the trip alone. In San Vito Marina, near Fossacesia, there's a restaurant in the little square with outdoor tables under the trees. The food is delicious at a very reasonable price, and the service is fast, with super-friendly waitstaff.

I'm talking about Fossacesia Marina, which is practically deserted out of season. Only self-catering apartments (closed) are available. But the apartment isn't in Fossacesia, but rather in the Fondi area. The town of Fossacesia, on the other hand, was a huge disappointment. It's a neglected place. The famous Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere isn't actually in Fossacesia, but a few kilometers outside, starting from the Adriatica.

An excellent option for a stopover on a long journey. The property is rustic yet elegant, and the owner is extremely kind and helpful. The room may be a bit cramped, but it's fully equipped. There's a lovely garden. Private parking is available on site. We dined at the "Sotto Sale" restaurant: an excellent meal, spacious enough for a truly good price/quality ratio.

The house is in Villa Scorciosa, a very quiet hamlet of Fossacesia. It's ideal for those who love the countryside and tranquility, with the convenience of being 5 km from the sea and 15 km from the mountains. Shops, restaurants, department stores, and a gas station are within 3 km. A tip: buy fruit and vegetables from the farmers along the road. Locally sourced, delicious, and at fantastic prices.

The trabocchi are wonderful, the coast is evocative and romantic, the local meat and fish cuisine is definitely worth trying, and a visit to the Abbey of San Giovanni is a must, a charming place with a wonderful view.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable , the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts offered a good selection in a very nice dining room. There is a nice view of the sea from the front of the hotel and I loved the cactus garden as you approach the front door.
