From the moment you enter the gates you are treated with impeccably well manicured gardens. With plenty of parking if traveling by car. Walk into reception and you are greeted by the most welcoming host, Manuel who is very eager to explain things about the hotel and things to do around Tropea. Our room was very clean, nicely furnished and had a balcony overlooking the immaculate kept pool area. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to swim in the pool. The relaxed outdoor area in the shaded garden is a perfect way to eat an excellent delicious buffet breakfast with a large selection of home made savory food, sweets and espresso coffee, Thank you to the friendly ladies who always served breakfast with a lovely smile on their face. Thank you Manuel and team, for the best experience in Calabria. See you again soon.

The location is very central, around 20mins walk from the center. The rooms at the side of the parking have a fantastic view and a very big balcony. The room is also quite spacious. Having a parking is also a big plus. The breakfast at the roof top is amazing, quite a good variety. The staff are very nice and polite. I highly recommend this property :)

The room was clean, tidy, comfortable bed, sheets and also love the atmosphere at breakfast, the two ladies was perfect, very nice. Food was amazing, and at the end, Daniela was so helpful and nice, she have us many suggestions about tripst, restaurant and thinks to do nearby. We really enjoyes our stay, definetely worth it. We spent an amazing week at Mercurio Hotel! Giuseppe and his team are the most hospitable people we know and are doing everything possible for their guests. They always found time to have a chat with us, gave us nice tips about the surrounding and played all the time with our kids. Our son has celiac desease so every day they prepared something personal for him. Not to speak about the regular breakfast and dinners: everything was very delicious, fresh and abundant. Mercurio is located in Capo Vaticano, very close to the most beautiful beaches of Calabria (Spaggia di Grotticelle, di Riaci, Formicoli). You will definitely not hesitate to choose this hotel for your stay in Calabria!
