The apartment is located about 10 mins walk from the train station which was convenient. The actual building is quite old, and the apartment is mostly refurbished. We liked the kitchen, big tv, and the sofa for an extra person. The bedroom was fine as well, however the bathroom/toilet could do with some renovation. Overall, we had a good stay.

I think Lastra a Signa - the Agriturisimo at San Lorenzo was...

I think Lastra a Signa - the Agriturisimo at San Lorenzo was great for us and more like a 4.5 than a 3. We would highly recommend it for a full Tuscan experience, the stay, the food everything was great. Thank you Booking.Com for having this on you website. We really appreciate the choices you give us.

The house was lovely and the lady owner very kind.

The house was lovely and the lady owner very kind. It would have been nice to have a kettle in our room. We were surprised to find that breakfast was not served in the hotel but in a cafe 1.5 km away which we had to walk to as we are travelling by train. The breakfast was good but it was a long walk. As we were leaving early next day the proprietor brought us a take-away and drove us to the train station, which was very kind of her.

When we first arrived everything seemed to be okay or even better than expected. After the first night small problems seemed to appear. Even though a room service was obviously active, the floors were still dirty and on the third day the cleaning utensils were left in our room. The staff was overall very friendly and accommodating though. They actively remembered allergies / food intolerance sheet mentioning then one. It just sadly seemed like the place was lacking a certain degree of professionalism.

Really wonderful experience!

Really wonderful experience! We got lost on the way there, but when we finally found it, we loved it. Best experience in Italy (ten days of travel). Double check your GPS. Try to book something on the second floor because people can be noisy. If you don’t want to eat at the restaurant, bring food. Isolated and beautiful!!

A real Italian village/town.

A real Italian village/town. It has everything a traveler could need. We found excellent restaurants. (L'Uniqa, or l'Antico) the transportation is safely organized. A real belcanto experience - A'la Caruso... The train, the bus run on time, everyone is helpful, a real homely Tuscan feeling.

Very friendly welcome, cozy furnishings, good breakfast. Since we arrived after 8 pm, we would have liked to have a glass of wine, but the bar was unmanned. This was perhaps due to the low number of guests and the off-season. Not easy to find at night without GPS...

We just left, and we already miss the days we spent in Residenza Piandaccoli. Those days are such wonderful memories for us. During our two-week trip in Italy, those were the most unexpected, satisfying, and enjoyable days. Thank you, Maria, for taking such good care of this beautiful hotel and providing us with such a wonderful experience. We hope to return to Italy soon and visit Residenza Piandaccoli again. We will also recommend Residenza Piandaccoli to other friends traveling to Italy!

Lovely farm house located in the middle of Tuscan landscape, great hosts - Silvia and her family are taking care of everything for us during our staying there. Works very well with a car, good spot for discovering Firenze, while staying aside of the crowded city - everyday we went to Lastra a Signa railway station, let the car there and take the train for 15 min to Firenze SMN. Great starting point to drive around Tuscany. Excellent ratio cost/quality.

We had a larger room attached seperate to the property. Great size and lots of space for 3 of us. Very clean the rooms were and beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good each morning. Location it’s a 20 min train journey from lastra a signa (7 min drive from the hotel) to the centre which was brilliant! Very easy journey if you have a car and take a right out of the hotel rather than follow maps to the train station! Free car park too!

The hotel is located inside a historical villa and has a nice pool. The staff is incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of info about nearby restaurants and how to reach Florence and other nearby cities. The position (nearby the motorway access, but isolated and quiet) is strategic if you want to visit multiple cities in northern Tuscany.
