Absolutely stunning hotel, with state-of-the-art technology and design features throughout! It's a short drive to some of the gorgeous villages of the Ligurian coast, and a short way from the motorway. Although we booked the basic room last-minute, we were given a fabulous room with massive sliding patio doors offering a wonderful view of the valley and hills. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. The bed was of extremely good quality, and we found it very comfortable and spacious. Everything is brand new, spotlessly clean and tastefully chosen with the well-being of the guests in mind. The bathroom is spacious with several interesting design features. We especially appreciated the complimentary 24-hour buffet and bar, and chilling on the sofas on the amazing sun terrace. The breakfast offered a good variety of sweet and savoury delicacies & drink options. The owner certainly has excellent taste and takes great pride in all aesthetic aspects, with great attention to detail. All the staff were friendly and professional. We can't recommend it enough! We will be back!

The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from Lerici, San Terenzo and Venere Azzurra beach - on the Gulf of Poets. We had a lovely welcome from Amerigo and Guido - and stayed for 6 nights. There is a big car park with plenty of space at the side and back. Our room was on the first floor at the back of the hotel, with a nice big balcony and a pleasant view over the hills. Breakfast was excellent - with fruit juice, freshly prepared tea or coffee, cold meats, cheese, breads, pastries, biscuits, cereals and fresh fruit. We love walking and Amerigo told us about the footpaths over the hills (marked with a red and white sign) and we walked into Lerici or San Terenzo (passing the house where Shelley stayed) at least once every day. We took the ferry from Lerici around the Cinque Terre and enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar or on our balcony in the evening. We had a fabulous holiday and didn’t use our car at all. Thank you both!

Excellent place to stay while visiting Liguria.

Excellent place to stay while visiting Liguria. Picturesque, not too many tourists around at the end of September. Easy journey on the boat to Cinqueterre, frequent buses to the train station in La Spezia or 30 euro taxi. Good sandy beaches, free and pay ones. Many restaurants and cafes, very safe area for evening walks.

Lerici is not the most beautiful place to stay at the...

Lerici is not the most beautiful place to stay at the Italian coast, but it is near beautiful villages. The center is outdated and a bit shabby with low to medium quality restaurants. But it is great to take a boat trip and cool down on the sea. Parking is difficult, so make sure you have arranged that with the hotel. We had to park 10min walk from the hotel. With high temperatures you really have to plan your trip.

The historic part of Lerici, even though it was not high...

The historic part of Lerici, even though it was not high season, was clean and tidy, although there were construction works on the promenade. Plenty of places to eat in this part of town, bars, restaurants, etc. Just a shame I didn't find a artisan bakery with baguettes and croissants and other bakery goodies. The pizzeria with the charcoal stone oven (Pizza farinata al taglio Gabbiani) on Via Oronte Petriccioli was great.

Lerici still retains the charm of a typical Italian fishing village hence some very good seafood restaurants it is experiencing some modernising by creating an artistic promenade by the sea very good for walking and watching the activities of the harbour

Lerici is a very nice place at the southern end of the Gulf...

Lerici is a very nice place at the southern end of the Gulf of La Spezia. Nice old town and nice hotels along the beach. If you visit try to book a room with a seaview. I like to stay here when i have work in La Spezia, it gives a holiday feeling on the business trip.

Ferry trip to Porto Venere and exploring there was a highlight of our trip. We walked to San Terenzo and to Tellaro as well - lovely little villages. Sunset up at Lerici castle is not to be missed either

Amazing family run hotel. Lovely views over Lerici and a good seafood restaurant. Short walk downhill to Lerici harbour. Pop through the tunnel (end of the harbour) under the castle for a little local beach. Hotel also has its own private parking.
