How can you make a regular hotel especially good. You gather around a young Team of people who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Normally at the end of a long season it will start to show as people are very tired. Not in Harmony and Smile (the name is so appropriate) Each staff member was more than happy to ensure we had enjoyable a stay as possible.

Loved the room, very clean and excellent location. Everything is just a short walk away, the trains to get to other towns such as Pisa are easy to get to via a bus close by. Loved the staff, incredibly helpful people despite me only speaking English, they tried their best to give me the best information and I was very grateful for how helpful they were!

    Everything was a bit run-down and in need of restoration. The beaches and restaurants were almost entirely empty of people, so there was a a lack of excitement and "buzz" about the whole area. I might have expected this a month later, but not in September.

    Quite touristy in high season.

    Quite touristy in high season. It must be nice to go there just before or after it. Different entertainments are provided. Problems with parking in high seasons and controls by the city guards which can lead to penalties.

    Lovely beach.

    Lovely beach. It is clean with lifeguards but there are not enough free beaches. In the height of the season it must be impossible to get a space on one. The beach clubs are too extensive and expensive if you re using them alot.

    very nice place, great beach, all the access has to be paid - you have all the comfort you could need but you have to pay for it. Some has even swimming pool but the price is higher. Nice restaurants and sunbeds. in a weekdays in july very easy to park a car.

    Lido is remote people need a car - the beach is lovely but there is no town nearby restaurants were not always open especially at night - prices in lido are as high as Dublin for most things - would not recommend for anyone with limited walking

    Typical holiday destination. Lots of bars and restaurants Lovely atmosphere. Gets very busy. Good sandy beaches. Could extend the free beach a bit more as paying for beds / parasols etc on a daily basis could be expensive for some families. The village of Camaiore, Pietransanta, and Lucca are lovely and worth a visit.

    The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For us it is a big plus that you can take the dog to the beach! Like that our old lady could be with us all the time :) The beach is just around the corner and a sunbed plus umbrella is reserved for you during your stay. We also went to Pisa with the public Bus which stops in front of the hotel. It only took us 1 hour and costs 7 Euro per Person (both ways). Miss Claudia is a wonderful host and has a great team! We will come back :)

    The team managing the place is made up of wonderful people: they will make you feel comfortable, welcomed and joyful, even when you get bad weather on your beach getaway! The place itself has everything you need, just go there and rest, forget about worries, enjoy Italy!
